Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Elizabeth City

The service was horrible, first of all my Daughter called in the order and recognized the man who answered the phone as the Manager. He acted like he didn't even want to take her order and handed the phone off to another employee, so my Daughter places the order and they told her 15 or 20 minutes. No big deal as it's Friday night, I drive about 12 minutes to get there stop by the gas station first. So plenty of time, I go in and the young lady asked if I had a call in order and I said yes then gave her my name. Then she informed me that they were out of bread and had to wait for more to bake and that would be another 15 to 20 minutes, then wants to ask if that's OK with me like it's not late and it's a good drive to any establishment where I live. So I'm like what other choice did I have but to wait as I was there now, then I wait 15 minutes go back in and they're just now starting my order ( they had five employees and were not busy at all) so after all that she did offer to only charge me for two of the four subs and I said that's ok just charge me for three and give me a bag of chips. When I get home I figured out that she charged me for four anyway and they didn't put the bacon on my wife's club sandwich, needless to say we'll be placing a call to corporate tomorrow. Apparently after talking with my my kids that kind of thing goes on there a lot, it seems they do more to discouraged you from coming there than trying to get you to come dine with them. Damn shame because the food is actually really good, so I wouldn't expect them to treat you like valued customer should one choose to go to...

If I could give zero stars for service I would. So disgustingly rude in that place. Genuinely probably one of the worst restaurant experiences i’ve ever had. First of all, you walk in, everyone staring at you with dirty looks, not a single word said from any employee. Got my sandwich made, I guess what was ok. Got to the register and the BOY, because that was no man, proceeds to ask me questions, mumbled every word out of his mouth, then when I misunderstood him, VERY RUDELY asked “Hello can you even hear me” literally with the nastiest tone i’ve ever heard. Left no tip. Nothing was deserved. There was also another girl in there, out of the 7 employees doing nothing just standing around, Brown hair, no jaw line (Bobs burgers character type no jaw line) just staring HARD made eye contact with her probably a dozen different times because she was literally just staring at me….fućk!ng rude. Ordered online under my name. Put my husbands name on who it was for. My husband went in to get his order and they said they didnt have it. He called me to ask and while I was on the phone I heard my husband say Oh its under her name but she put the food was for me where you do it on the website. Understandably, it was a confusion. I heard the guy (who my husband says was a manager) say "maybe she should learn how to use the website" UNPROFESSIONAL and UNCALLED for. He then said "its the website, I dont have nothin to do with that" My husband then said ..This is your place, you represent it and he responded with "This aint my business" TERRIBLE TERRIBLE attitude to have as a manager!
