McDonald's — Restaurant in Elizabeth City

Breakfast time is the only time I'd order here. Every order I've placed after 7pm has at least one mistake if not an error with every aspect of my order. Additionally, I've only encountered one individual who didn't appear to think my presence was the complete ruination of his day after breakfast. Don't bother customizing your order after breakfast as special requests aren't even taken as polite suggestions and asking for a correction will be treated like Americans asking Congress for Medicare for All... The only reason I don'tt rate this McDonald's even lower is because of how stellar the breakfast crew's customer service & attention to detail are... If you want McDonald's after breakfast, hit up the one on W Ehringhaus or North Road St...also, if the doors are locked and it's before close, they're probably short staffed... good luck figuring that out on your own, however, as no one will be compelled to post signage to explain or provide any guidance for customers who've ordered ahead in the app and may intend to pick up their order at the counter or have table service rather than utilizing drive thru or curbside options... Leaving feedback about such experiences and offering solutions (in my experience) results in a reply from McDonald's that expecting communication and consistency is unreasonable... So, since you'll have to use your vehicle to get your order during dinner hours anyway, regardless of your order type and requested method of fulfillment, I suggest traveling the extra 5 or so minutes to a McDonald's (like any of the other 2 in a Elizabeth City) that won't make their bad day your...

It was around 230 on Sat. The place was messy, cashier was asked to clean at least 3 tables for different customers. She had to leave customers standing at the register to do that. They were out of the self serve tea, straws, napkins, salt. The manager was yelling at the (limited) staff saying she could not work both screens; I assumed duning room and drive thru. I asked to see the manager to make her aware of a customer that had come in and was very nasty and probably unaware of what was on the back of her shorts. The manager assured me she would handle it and did nothing. The messed woman commenced to speak with other customers, place an order at the kiosk and then sit down in the lobby. Other customers noticed her soiled clothing and I told them I had spoken with the manager who said she would handle it. The woman (who came in from the stop sign in the parking lot accepting money from cars stopping there) sat at a table and laid her head down on it for several minutes. When she got up, there was what appeared to be feces all over the chair ehich was drawing flies. I again went to the counter.and summoned the manager and told her that there was a chair in the lobby that needed to be cleaned. She finally sent a worker out to clean the chair. I have never been so disgusted and shocked in my life! I am very sorry for the lady that had problems, but that situation could have been an environmental emergency. I also understand the manager was busy but a responsible manager would have MANAGED...

I don’t know what it is about this particular McDonald’s, but they let you know more than anything. My order was a simple as it gets, and they got that wrong too. I have to wait for the sandwich to be made incorrectly, and pull up to the second window. Then after I received my sandwich and noticed those wrong, I had to go back inside, And let them know that I was missing a condiment on the sandwich, one of the main things is THE EGG. After I told him, he had me wait once again, waiting to the back and got an egg and put it in a box and gave it to me just so I can make my own sandwich. So now I just received a hot fresh egg, to put on my cold sandwich. After I received it, I told him I thought the show and just remake it, but he just acts like giving me an egg was OK. Just the atmosphere alone is the reason why I don’t like coming to the least common people on their phones while cooking, such another peoples food with no gloves, touching their phones, and then touching other peoples food, whatever happened to people not wearing gloves anymore, it’s disgusting. Especially if workers are touching their phones and then touching other peoples food without...
