Giving this 2 stars instead of 3 or 1. First off the service was awful. Went to get seated and the hostess didnt even greet us she just ignored us and was sitting there counting tips. Finally after a minute or 2 she looked up and seated us. Asked if we needed a high chair and we said yes. We got to the table and I stood and waited holding my 1 year old daughter as per usual for our high chair and it never came. Finally a few minutes later I saw the waitress again and she came over and looked at me funny for standing. She again asked "would you like a high chair?" Said yes again finally after another few minutes of waiting it came. So after waiting an extremely long time to order ( there were 2 other couples in the half of the restuarant we were in) she took our order. She brought our drinks over and ALL of the cups were over flowing and dripping all over the table (and my wife) I had to dump some of my sons into a few napkins because when he tried to pick it up it was pouring all over him and my wife"s frozen cocktail was over the top and dripping all down the sides making a huge mess. We got our appetizers and they were subpar at best. When asked about the wings she offered to bring the sauce on the side. My wife said she would like buffalo on the wings with the asian w.e it was on the side. They came out dryer than the bone they were on with no sauce on it with 2 cups on the side. Going on an hour and just getting our appetizers is when the fun began. Frustrated at this point the waitress walked by with another tables dirty dishes. Low and behold she dropped them ON my wife. Her back was covered with sour cream and the splatter went all over our appetizers. Beyond frustrated she quietly got up and stormed to the bathroom to avoid a huge s**t storm. This happened as the manager was walking through so he witnessed it. They profusely apologized which is not for the already poor service would have been enough. The manager quickly said he will fix the bill to account for her dry cleaning. I thanked him and he went on his way. When my wife returned angrily and somewhat cleaned up we realized out appetizers were covered in someone else's regurgitated for remnants so clearly we couldn't eat any more. The manager and waiter came over to reconcile the situation which I had already told my wife about. Pleased that they were planning on doing the right thing we patiently waited for the verdict. "I'm sorry for the issues I am going to take care of one of your entrees no charge." I could see the look on my wife's face and needed to act fast. I explained that our appetizers were no longer edible and didnt feel it right to pay for these either. The manager looked angrily at his waitress apologized again and decided he would take care of the whole bill. This was the only reason this place got 2 stars instead of 1. Now if he had come out and fixed this problem from the start in this manner i would have gladly given it 3 stars. At this point we were very upset and just wanted to leave so asked for to go boxes for our food. 4 people in total. She brought out the food and the boxes to wrap it ourselves... she only brought out 1 box. So we had to wait another 5 minutes for our box. Ultimately we ate our cold chilis at home and the food overall was ok. I could tell they rushed it out just to get it to us as the cheese on our potatoes wasnt even melted and neither was my sons grilled cheese. Even without eating our meal we were there for 2 hours. Even without the debochle of dropping disgusting regurgitated remnants all over us this is a 1 star establishment I can tell. Maybe good for a quick lunch to go or a drink at the bar but as a nice place to eat with your family?? I would strongly caution you from it. Luckily now we have a good story to laugh about but not...
Read more3/19/25 I recently had a very disappointing experience at this Chili’s location. The food was poorly prepared, overcooked, and not up to the standard I’ve come to expect. Unfortunately, the service was equally subpar. From the moment we arrived, the host’s response was less than welcoming. When we requested a table for four, she insisted that we wait for everyone to be present, despite the fact that my parents were in the restroom and would be returning shortly. It was frustrating to be asked to queue again just for this reason.
Our server, Maggie, was not only unhelpful but also quite rude. While we initially let some minor issues slide, things escalated. We waited far too long for basic items like water, which we needed as we were breaking our fast. When my father raised his hand to request water refills and condiments, Maggie responded dismissively, stating that we should call her by name rather than wave. She seemed distracted and focused on other tables, which made the situation even more frustrating.
When it came time to pay, we expressed our preference to settle the bill at the counter, as opposed to using the mobile payment system. Despite this being a simple customer preference, Maggie responded negatively, stating she would need to call the manager. This seemed unnecessary and unprofessional. When the manager finally arrived, her demeanor was dismissive as well, and she refused to provide her name, which only added to the poor experience. She suggested we simply submit our complaint online, rather than addressing the situation in person.
To make matters worse, while other tables were consistently checked on, we were ignored unless we specifically called Maggie over. It was clear that the level of attention and care we received was far below what is expected in any service-oriented business.
Overall, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had, and it certainly did not meet the standards I’ve come to expect from a Chili’s. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve both the quality of food and service at this location. Maggie and the manager has to go training, Manager doesnt know how to lead and solve problem, super unhelpful. Instead of hearing our complaints,...
Read moreI recently had the most terrible dining experience at Chili Restaurant, and I feel compelled to share my shocking encounter.
As I was eagerly digging into my meal, I spotted a live roach! It was a moment of shock and disgust, that I immediately lost my appetite. I discreetly brought it to the attention of the waiter, who seemed to be as disgusted and appalled as we were. the waitress seem to have understood our distress but the manager at Chili Restaurant still insisted on having us pay for our meal. Mind you we were willing to pay for what we had already ate but the last two meals we did not finish we lost our appetite. The response the manager gave shows a lack of empathy and concern for customer satisfaction and safety.
Also The fact that a roach was present in the dining area raises serious concerns about the restaurant's hygiene standards. I couldn't help but wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen and the overall sanitation of the establishment. It's not only a health hazard but also a complete disregard for the well-being and satisfaction of their customers.
In situations like this, it's essential for restaurant management to prioritize the well-being of their patrons over monetary concerns. The presence of a roach in your meal is a clear violation of health and hygiene standards, and any responsible establishment should have taken immediate steps to rectify the situation, including not charging us for the unacceptable experience.
Overall my visit to Chili Restaurant was horrible that I wouldn't wish upon anyone. The presence of a roach in my meal, coupled with lack of empathy has left me with a deep sense of disappointment and disgust. I strongly advise anyone considering dining at Chili Restaurant specifically at this area to think twice and choose an establishment that values hygiene, customer satisfaction, and quality dining...
