DO NOT SHOP HERE WARNING POOR SERVICE We went 2 days ago and picked up 2 cupcakes a red velvet and a raspberry the raspberry was great the icing was overly sweet but the red velvets icing was so old it was CRUSTED inedible I tryed scraping it off and trying the inside of the icing but could eat it due to being so old the cupcake was semi fresh I was able to eat the lower half but Without the icing im eating a muffin I didn’t pay almost $4 for a muffin The next day I called them I was told to stop and pick out any cupcake I wanted by my wife got off at 5 pm so she stopped by to pickup a vanilla cupcake knowing it’s almost impossible to mess one up When I got there an old woman came out to stare at her way to make your customers feel comfortable not A guy behind the counter asked are you the one it complained about hard cupcakes she said YES he continued with how dare you we don’t sell hard cupcakes calling both of us a lairs WOW excellent customer service not When I called earlier that day I offered to bring the old icing and was told no but is this really how someone should handle customers The second red velvet was good soft icing but after dealing with the staff I’d recommend going anywhere else awful place of business I called on the 3rd day because I didn’t hear about the staff being rude until they closed I talked to a manager about this I left my number and I’m waiting for the owner to call no solution has been made and no ones explained why their staff feels like he can to talk to someone how ever he wants to And we only came back because they did a good job with out Christmas...

The desserts are delicious and we enjoy watching the owners videos on Facebook. She seems so friendly, kind and energetic. She laughs and smiles and seems welcoming. But the staff in the store is far from enthusiastic and a huge turn off for my business. The young man - Lee - working on Saturday morning 5/21 was just plain rude and unfriendly. I was shocked later to find out that he's the owner's son! He didn't greet us. He didn't smile. I told him that we were here to pick out cupcakes for my son's birthday and he didn't react in a customer service friendly way. He didn't really even speak besides making the transaction. This is the second time we've been in the store and received this service from him. We enjoy the desserts and want to support local businesses anytime we can! During a recent visit to town to see family, I had the pleasure of stopping by Bess's bakery. I purchased a variety of treats including cupcakes, sandwich cookies, macarons, and cake slices. Truthfully, everything tasted absolutely delightful. Not only was the presentation of the baked goods impressive, but the hospitality was equally outstanding.

Both Bess and the cashier made the experience memorable. The cashier was extremely friendly, patient, and informative, answering all our questions with a smile. Bess herself came out from the back to chat with my daughter, offering encouragement and advice on baking. Her warmth and kindness left a lasting impression.

It was definitely an experience and taste that my daughter and I won't soon forget. I highly recommend Bess's bakery to anyone in the area looking for delicious treats and...
