Dewster's Homemade Ice Cream & Bakery — Restaurant in Elizabethtown

I've eaten a lot of homemade ice cream , but Dewster's is among the best I've ever had. I sampled pineapple, then I tried peach. Bot were full flavored rich and creamy. PERFECTION ! I THEN MOVED ON TO THE ULTIMATE OF ULTIMATES. " THE BANANA SPLIT " , the old fashion style . AGAIN, it was excellent, excellent. Excellent !!! Excellent Excellent . Service is wonderful 4-28-24. In addition to the ice cream, the staff were extremely friendly, and as you were looking at the display of all the different ice creams, they were describing each flavor. Staff were very, very helpful & professional. I would recommend Dewestet's to anyone who enjoys the comfort you get from ice cream - the best I've had in years. 9/27/23, still the absolute best ice cream around 😋. First time there. 1. they give out samples according to the patrons ahead of us in line if you want to try something only they make. That was not the case that day, upset them enough they didn't try new and only bought one small thing. They also asked for a quart of a specialty, but they don't sell special that way.We all had the same size of cone charged for 2 scoops for some reason one of them was very small. I was first in line to pay for our Special adverture, my son tryed paying I told the woman at the register I was paying no matter what she asked him if I was his MAMA, Well I have this issue you birthed him he needs to pay. It was very very upsetting to that this Woman took a special moment with my grandkids., $50.00 for me its nothing to my son it is a lot more. Your there to work not...

Dewster's icecream and bakery is a combination made for any occasion.

First off, the staff is exceptional, friendly, and immediately helpful. As soon as you walk in the door, you're greeted and find yourself in a pleasant atmosphere.

The baked goods are amazing... you have to try a few so bring friends and family you don't mind sharing plates with. Every baked good is made by the team at the bakery and paired with icecream makes for an epic treat.

The icecream is homemade too. If you get a sunday or pair your favorite with a selection from the bakery...your choice of delights will be made with care just for you.

By far one of the best places to visit in Kentucky. A must stop place...
