Went there for the first time and it looked like any sports bar/restaurant but maybe more brighter lighting than the usual pub look they go for. We had about a 30 minute wait despite it being a weekday dinner. Once seated, the chairs were like sliding across the floor. Not sure if that was from the pads on the bottom or the grease? Hoping it was the pads. But let's just say, the kids and adults played around with the ice skate chairs. Service was a little crazy, again, there wasn't many people there on a weekday and yet we had a frazzled waitress, and saw almost 3 more servers throughout the night but all seemed to know different things that when you asked the other, They didn't. Even with having almost 3 waitresses, we didn't get refills unless we flagged someone down to get them. It was forgotten several times. As were some of the requests for extra sauce (this is a wing place) and the change of drink because the kids hated the sweet tea. Girls did not like the fried pickles and that has like never happened. The mozzarella sticks were good though. As were the salsa, and queso with chips. Also, side rant, why does no place have drink options for kids that aren't soda (trash), pink lemonade (red dye allergy- but also trash for anyone and everyone) or sweet tea (diabetes)? What happened to orange juice, apple juice, milk, or even like blue Powerade/Gatorade? 🤔 Also, they forgot my salad so I ended up taking it home. All in all, was not surprised impressed. I will say they had Cappy Snacks on tap though! Which is rare to find so that was the saving grace that took this from a 2...
Read moreAfter seeing the positive reviews for the wings at Duffs. my mother-in-law and I were eager to try Duffs. We waited about 30 minutes, which is typical for a new restaurant during dinner time. My mother-in-law inquired about their dark beer options, but the server only mentioned Budweiser and Coors, indicating he may not understand what dark beer actually is. I opted for the mild buffalo wings since I can't handle spicy food. The menu listed mild, medium-hot, and very hot options. Unfortunately, the wings arrived without any sauce, and when I asked the server about this, he mentioned that he doesn’t eat wings but provided me with some dipping sauce instead. This wasn’t what I expected from mild buffalo wings. When I spoke to the manager about the lack of sauce, he explained that the mild wings come dry while the medium ones are served wet. He stated that they call them hot, but they’re not very spicy at all. I expressed my concern that the menu could be misleading for someone who avoids spicy food. Overall, I was quite disappointed. After waiting 30 minutes, the wings tasted more like fried chicken than anything else. I had anticipated enjoying some delicious, messy mild wings, but it seems I’ll need to search for a better...
Read moreWent here for the 1st time this evening. My grandma went to see how long the wait was. She was told 25-30 minutes. She thought the hostess put her name in. She waited about 5 minutes & double checked with the hostess. She never put down her name or #. When she finally did, she told her it would be a 30-35 minute wait. When the rest of us got there it had been about 15 minutes. We noticed people that got there after us had gone in & never came back out. She sent my son in to check on our table. The hostess never called my grandma's name or her cell phone. When we were seated we waited 15-20 minutes before anyone came over to take our order. We noticed people that came in after we got there had already been seated & had their drinks. Luckily the waiter that did stop by our table was amazing! (Dash) he was very friendly & attentive. If it weren't for his service I was about to leave. We ordered the cheese sticks. They were just ok. My husband & I ordered the 30 boneless wings & split them. He got the hot honey & I got the mild. Grandma & our son also got the 30 boneless wings. 1/2 Charbq & 1/2 bbq. I wasn't a huge fan of the mild personally. I did enjoy the charbq my son got. The boneless wings were...
