I placed an online order with my husband this evening as we were exhausted from holiday shopping and didn’t feel up to cooking. I ordered the Ribeye and Snow Crab Combo and he ordered the Crispy Shrimp Platter. I requested my steak be medium well and I ordered a side of Steamed Broccoli and Roasted Baby Bellas. My Snow Crab was supposed to come with Garlic Butter and his Shrimp was supposed to come with Cocktail Sauce. When I entered the establishment initially to pick up my order everyone was very friendly. The hostess was cleaning the glass to the front doors and held the door open for me and proceeded to show me where to go to pick up my order as it was my first time eating and visiting at this establishment. The server who bagged my order was very friendly initially and was helpful. I left with my food and went home. When I arrived home and went to unbox my food, my husband and I noticed that my Steak was over cooked, I was missing my Steamed Broccoli, my Garlic Butter Sauce and his Cocktail Sauce were missing. We called the restaurant and spoke with the acting manager Danielle who assured us that the order would be remade and it would be done upon arrival back to the restaurant and to bring the previously picked up items back into the establishment. Upon arrival I quickly noticed that my food hadn’t even been started on. Danielle went back into the kitchen as over-site to ensure my food was made properly. While she was back there the cook, Ricky was upset about remaking the order. At first Danielle was entertaining some of his remarks and then she became silent to what was being said. Initially Ricky was asking why he needed to remake the order and Danielle replied with because it wasn’t made good enough for them the first time. Ricky continued to complain and the Server on the other side of the counter was joining in to his conversation. I continued to ignore the remarks and wait for my food. While this was going on Danielle had mentioned to Ricky several times he needed to watch his language as he was using profanity loud enough for guests to hear it. Then Ricky asked Danielle if the “Chubby Guy” was the one getting his order replaced. NOTHING was mentioned to him in regard to his lack of professionalism. Danielle proceeded to the other side of the counter to bag the food. She proceeded to open one of the containers and maneuver the food around in the container with her bare hands without washing them, moving her hair with the same hand, and wiping her hands on her pants. I will never be eating at this establishment again. My feelings have never been so hurt. I just got diagnosed with diabetes and I’m short and stocky. I’ve been dieting and making healthier food choices while going to the gym daily and I’ve lost 15 pounds. I will be contacting the General Manager tomorrow and I expect a full refund. I will also be contacting the Health Department in regard to how the food is handled, and I will be making a formal complaint with the BBB. Also while waiting seen the bartender attempt to use a screw driver to...
Read moreWell let's see where do I start. Ok we first get there get seated only one waitress was working she was also bar tending and bussing all the tables. She was wonderful there were others there but none were working at all they just kept calling this waitress to do everything. But that was only a small part of this visit, a fight or argument broke out in the kitchen with a lot of swearing and screaming the whole restaurant could here it. Very unprofessional. Then we finally ordered and I ordered a bacon cheeseburger plain well done but not burnt. When it finally got to our table which came with our appetizer, the cook I think was trying to be funny or something, my hamburger was burnt beyond belief and my bun was burnt also. Our waitress was so tied up with everything that she never made it back to our table to even check on how our food was. I ordered tea which came in a very dirty glass. Made me sick to my stomach seeing it after I had drank most of it. We sat at our table completely done eating waiting on our check which was at least half an hour, again not our waitresses fault I truly felt sorry for her with how she was being treated by her co workers, my husband even commented on how sorry he felt for her. As she is trying to check us in a big party of 5 walk in so of course she needed to seat them then a party of 4 walked in which was actually another waitress that had asked for the night off so she could go to the fair. So our waitress went to take my hamburger off the bill while that was being done she seated both groups, she walked back finally to us to finish our bill and one of her coworkers who was walking around like a zombie on drugs tells her to do something else and our waitress replied I have a 4 top and a 5 top that needs drinks so it will have to wait. Needless to say we are done. Ruby Tuesday could do much better but this was horrible. We will not be returning for a very long time if ever again at all. BTW our waitress was given a 22% tip for being so kind on the situation she was put into. I really don't know how this location even stays open. Absolutely the...
Read moreSunday, May 19, 2024 arrived at this Ruby Tuesday while on a road trip we did arrive late but they did walk us in and said we had plenty of time!!! we were gonna make it quick and easy. We were only headed to the salad bar with a 30 minute window before closing. Well right away we pissed off the salad bar guy evidently he was going to dismantle and leave early that night then our waitress said oh you have an hour. We both looked at each other my friend and I know they were going to close at 10 and it was 930. We decided to get the rib appetizer. It was a excellent choice and it came out within minutes. We were very pleased, but every minute past got worse and worse and worse the waitress zooming all the tables next to us so we heard that little bitty zoom broom racket the whole time we were eating And someone over-the-counter near the bar putting up the chairs perhaps was the one that said about us still being there at 10 till we politely ask can we have some boxes? We take our salad and finish it back in our hotel room the waitress hearing a discount by being a local hotel, then quickly returned to the takeout boxes because it wasn’t allowed so my friend visited the bar for a second time but then she heard a manager or another Personnel team member make a comment oh my she’s going back for a second round. This was so upsetting this was not called for we felt absolutely embarrassed and we were sorry we went into this establishment. This is not our first time at Ruby, Tuesday in years and years and years and years in fact, we were in Muncie Indiana on Friday night. We got excellent service. We got excellent food at the salad bar we tipped and we were very appreciative of the Muncie, Indiana Ruby, Tuesday, because this one in town has tarnished tarnished our...
