I was not impressed and I felt verbally attacked. They were short staffed so I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. That being said there are three occurrences that I would like to share that pushed me to leave this review. First, my brother has very severe allergies that he must clarify with any place he orders food from. They did accommodate, but when he was called back up they shouted it to the heavens for everyone to hear. This is small and I normally would not say anything, but they must make an effort to be better about this. The second offense came in the form of a death stare when I changed my order from a giant sandwich to a regular. This may be a very minor change but the woman behind the counter looked at me like I had just committed a cardinal sin. Again I didn’t appreciate this. Lastly, masks make it very hard to hear and understand what the person behind the counter is trying to say, and when I thought the turkey sandwich being was mine( apparently it wasn’t oops) things got a little confusing. The man behind the counter did not react well to this as it was disrupting the flow of the orders. Even though it was minor and can happen to anyone there was no understanding. In fact he aggressively reprimanded me out of frustration saying, “ no this isn’t your sandwich buddy.” For such a simple miscommunication I don’t feel like I deserved this. To the restaurant please try and be better to people even when you are stressed. Also, respect and take allergies seriously. It’s just a job to you but what you do matters and can hurt someone. We are just trying to...
Read moreMy experience today was horrible. I ordered two sandwiches. First they made the mistake of the wrong bread. Secondly, At the counter I proceeded to hand the girl a 100 bill because that was all I had on me at the time. The counter girl asked another co worker about the bill and she rudely stated that they do not accept 100 Bill's. I asked her why is it not posted on the door or anywhere else in the establishment. She rudely proceeded to say its per management. Now I could play the race card because here I am a Puerto Rican girl with a 100 bill and everyone else in the establishment at the time was caucasian. But I'm not gonna it's not worth it. I went to the nearest gas station to change the bill. I went back to Jersey Mike and ordered one sandwich. The gentleman asked if I wanted to use points I told him no. I told him( very loudly for him and everyone) that I will be paying with a 20 bill but let me check it first. I didnt want to be accused of counterfeit! He looked at me very rude and angry. I was waiting for him to grab the money and he paused for a moment. I was waiting for him to say that he was going to refuse my service. He proceeded to take the 20 bill and look at it himself to see if it was real or not. So if I had ordered about 10 sandwiches and handed u a 100 bill are u still going to refuse my money??? At the end of the day money is money. They didnt make the counterfeit pens for nothing. Make it make sense!!! I like the sandwiches but the people there need they attitude check. The same attitude u give me best believe I'm gonna give it...
Read moreI live in Elk Grove. So I’m a local. I Showed up at 8:20pm after flying in from out of town and I walked in to grab a sandwich as I live down the street and get told they ran out of bread for the night? Never been told that by a single jersey mikes or subway or jimmy Johns before. I usually go to another option But decided to give jersey mikes my business tonight.
I wouldn’t normally complain but they were cleaning everything and had everything put away. I didn’t get told they had no bread right away. I was greeted and a female came out from the back saying they ran out of bread. It truly felt they were just lazy and didn’t want to take everything else out that they put away well before closing. I even asked what time they closed? And she said nine. I looked at my watch and saw it was 8:20 and said okay...
