Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers — Restaurant in Elk Grove

Saturday, 5/20/2023 - Finally got to try Raising Cane's Chicken fingers restaurant. Address is 9164 E Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove, CA 95624. Upon arrival:

Pros:

1. plenty of parking
2. when we got there at noon, there was no line. We walked right up and ordered our food.
3. I asked for grill chicken vs what they had on the menu. They said they can do that. Sweet!!!
4. the grill chicken and the battered chicken were both very good. Tender and juicy. The Cane sauce was good with the chicken.
5. the little piece of bread that came with the 3 piece chicken tender was soft, buttery and good. We liked it. Fries were good.
6. they had a condiment section. You can get your own drinks. Glad they put out napkins. So glad we didn't have to keep going to the counter to ask for napkins, ketchup, or drink refills.
7. the young man behind the counter that helped us was very nice.
8. there is outside seating with table umbrellas.
9. they had a nice, large round table under a chandlier that looked so cute. But it was dirty.

Cons:

1. The burger bun, on the other hand, was a little on the tough side in my opinion. I didn't like it.
2. I tried to get water 3 times from their machine. All 3 times it came out pink. Water tasted funky and odd tasting. I didn't like it one bit.
3. bathroom was dirty.
4. we tried to find a table to sit inside. All the ones we looked at were all dirty. Even the chairs were dirty. We ended up sitting outside.

Conclusion: The chicken tenders here were very good. Moist, soft and tender. The little side toasted bread the provided is just as good. Soft, buttery and good. Staff was nice and helpful. If I ever come here again, I think I'm just going to go through the drive through. The restaurant was on the dirty side. As many people as I saw working behind the counter, there wasn't anyone to clean up the inside tables and chairs or the bathroom. I hope they make time to clean it to make it more presentable.

But I was glad that service was quick. Our foods didn't take long...

Sandwiches 🥪 are good, really good. How much do we need another place with yet more chicken 🐔🍗 items on the menu... more so the only thing on the menu? In my opinion not very much!

The strange arrogant attitude of the employees with their hard domineering blank stairs and self-assuming behavior says a great deal about the core beliefs here. I certainly didn't feel invited, excited nor comfortable. Not a good experience...not even memorably neutral to be quite candid.

The place was dead (2 cars including me) while the employees sucked in their cheeks, rolled their eyes.

The food is good, too bad it's just simply chicken. As far as dynamic employees during my short visit? No one stood out here as a super star. In fact I was blamed for slowing their time [training] asking them what's "good to order?". I took the blame saying "yep it's all my fault" when accused of such a sardonic comment directed to a brand new customer. No customer retention here 👋.

I'll never go there again, and after spending over $10 bucks on what you see pictured below I'm still a little hungry tbqh.

Pros -Pretty great fried chicken sandwiches from the chicken recipe to the bread and flavor 👍. To make it is one thing but to reproduce it with each order 👏 to the chef engineers as well as cooks. -Fries just ok and Cane's gives very few FYI -Good Coleslaw

Cons -Poor customer service -Immature employees with no core company principle focus nor understanding -Rude condescending employees -No one offered condiments

I heard that this newly opened shop is a branch of a popular fried chicken shop on the Internet. I came here because of its popularity and bought two chicken finger set meals and two fried chicken sandwiches. When I arrived, there was a long queue, but the queue was about 15 minutes. Got the fried chicken left and right, and the efficiency is ok. However, when I got the fried chicken, there was no smell of fried chicken, but a smell of oil consumption. I thought it was very strange 🤔, but because we bought it for the first time, and there were many people queuing behind, so we quickly left and went home go. When I opened the box after I got home, there was still no fried chicken smell, but a stronger oil consumption smell. It smelled really uncomfortable, and it tasted even more disgusting🤮I want to vomit. The bread is delicious 😋 but a little salty. French fries and sauces are also a bit salty, too salty is not good for your health. I was looking forward to delicious fried chicken fingers at lunch time, but the food tasted and smelled like expired food, the gas guzzling smell filled my home, I was unhappy, I was disappointed and sad because I was really hungry. This horrible food looks delicious but smells and tastes unpleasant. I really want to return it and let the chef eat this disgusting gas-guzzling fried chicken finger combo...
