Old Style Deli — Restaurant in Elkhart

Stopped in for a quick lunch. There was no line when I walked in. Ordered a grilled chicken salad with ranch and onion rings with ketchup (don’t judge). After I ordered, the gentleman that took my order said “everyone came in at once so it might be a little bit”. No problem, I figured it would take 15min or so to qualify as a “little bit” for my salad. I was wrong. Over 45min later my order came up. The gentleman behind the counter was very sweet and incredibly apologetic and even gave me a cookie for my wait. I hit the road to my destination and open my to go bag to find: green peppers on the salad (not listed as an ingredient on the menu and I ordered this salad specifically because it didn’t have peppers like some of the other salads), no ketchup, and a knife instead of a fork to eat my salad. Lovely place for a quick bite to eat! My friends had the burger (unsure the name) with chips and I had the eggclusive club with the parmesan fries. The club was yummy though my friends burger was a bit basic, they could tell it was a frozen patty and at the prices charged it should have been priced better. The parmesan fries were decent but it felt, again, it was a bit basic then what I have had here before.

The menu is HUGE, so take your time to review and see but it is definitely a cute place to hit in...
