The Corner Bar — Restaurant in Elkhart

as a diamond member and as a person always traveling and serving the community hospitals as a physician. I find myself dining within the hotel restaurant most the time This is not my first time being here in Elkhart Indiana,I have visited this hotel many times, and every time I come here I am greeted and treated like family. I have always asked the question from the staff. What is the reason for the such a friendly staff ? This place is different from other places, and I finally came up with an answer! And that is that they truly enjoy working here. I typically find myself in a corner bar after my long shift at the hospital and have always enjoyed chatting with the staff. The bartender which I called him Ron Burgundy sets a good standard for any bartender not only does he pour amazing drinks.he can hold a conversation with you and make your truly feel welcome. The three girls that work at the corner bar. Have always made me feel extremely welcome and I always enjoy having a conversation with them. I always look forward to coming back and visiting them and chatting about life. They do their best to ensure that the food quality is at its standard and that as a customer I am truly satisfied !

We stopped for dinner on 9/15/2022. There were 4 people at the bar and 4 seated at tables, not busy at all. The management needs to train the staff. We understand that labor is difficult to find, however if management watched they would know the staff needs training. Four of us waited over 20 minutes before we waived at the bartender, who was chatting with the waitress. Finally, we got a menu and water. No drinks or anything else offered. Once we ordered we received food before silverware or napkins.

The food was very good, the poor service continued. We would have had a second drink if we could have had any service. When we were finished, we tried to get the waitresses attention for over 10 minutes.

The A/C was running too cold to be comfortable and I like it around 70 degrees.

Wow, the service is fantastic. They make fantastic food. Ocean can make the best drinks out there. The service from Kim could not have been better. I swear, it's like a small 5-star restaurant there, with what those two bring to the table. The attention to detail is impeccable, from the moment you step through the door.
