What a delicious place. Looking for a pizza place that wasn't a chain place we stumbled upon Pizzarelli's. Upon entering we were greeted immediately by the wonderful aroma and then by the staff. The staff was very friendly and they have many regulars as apparent by the conversations that were over heard. Staff knew customer names and drink orders with out asking. We ordered a 10" personal New York hand tossed spicy sausage pizza, a 10" Chicago thin crust pepperoni, and an order of fried pickles. The fried pickles were Pickle spears and not Pickle chip a nice change and very pickley. The chicken wings come highly recommended, and we will get them on our next visit. They have lunch specials under $10. Which we will also have the next visit. They have bottled soda & fountain Pepsi drinks. They also have bottled wine. Both pizzas were very chessey. Everything was delicious. We each left with half of our pizzas There were a few booths and 3 tables. A good place to meet friends and family. this place is located in a strip plaza with plenty of parking. You need to check this place out and once you do you will become a regular 😉 We have now been 3 times and it's been delicious each time. Not only do they do pizzas, but they also do pasta, sandwiches, and eppie rolls. I had the Italian sausage eppie roll and it was amazing. I highly recommend it.

Visiting St Louis for a concert, wife wanted pizza. She looked up the best pizza places in St. Louis and on a Reddit link found this one listed. You weren't too close and we had time so we gave it a try. We ordered a large New York style crust and the toasted raviolis. The raviolis were clearly homemade and absolutely delicious. They're nice and crispy with a delicious filling. The pizza was clearly hand tossed. It was not perfectly circle and it was not perfectly shaped. It was however perfectly delicious. Even just the crust on the edge itself was delicious. You would be doing it a dishonor by not eating a crust. It almost tasted like sourdough. I wish we lived in the area so we could try the different styles of pizza they have as well.

We really liked this place the first time we went here, but the next time they lied about a coupon not being 'for their restaurant.' I explained that they had accepted the same coupon earlier this year. They insisted that it was a "fake coupon." I called back to complain about the experience and the girl on the phone literally said to me, "Next time just call Dominos." These people are liars and the wait time is outrageous. I would go ahead and pass on ordering food from this dump. Hour and a half wait to pick up food and be disrespected. Guess I'll just go to Dominos next time, because they're good people.

5 stars for taste but many notes (notably they don't offer Chicago style deep dish). This is primarily for their deep dish pizza. I also ordered a NY style and it was fine but I'm going focus on the deep dish.

First a definition: Chicago style pizza is at its heart, a flaky, almost crispy pizza crust. The crust acts as a kind of shelf for the remaining ingredients which create that thick pizza pie. The edges are almost vertical, being pinched up the side of a round deep dish pan. A thick layer of cheese helps prevent the dough getting soggy, and the rest of the ingredients are enveloped beneath a rich tomato-forward sauce. It's delicious and decadent and those not strong enough will reach for a knife and fork.

Pizzarelli's deep dish is nothing like this. The crust is not flaky but rather a delicious chewy dough that's been rolled up on a pizza stone instead of pinched up against the side of a pan. The sauce, rich in flavor of tomatoes and color, is hidden under a large amount of gooey cheese. Some of the sauce is rolled up in the edges, which adds to the flavor of the dough. The sausage is plentiful and seasoned to complement the rest of the ingredients.

Overall, this was a delicious pizza and I would recommend you try it. But I definitely wouldn't consider it to be Chicago style. For pizza that reminds of those days in the Windy City, my...

I have lived in the area for five years now and just tried Pizzarrelli's for the first time. I have been missing out! New York style pepperoni was awesome, Chicago deep dish with spicy sausage was a cheese psycho's dream! That sucker weighed like 5 pounds! Wings breaded and dipped in hot sauce were so much better than most pubs and grills. Their cheese bread was one of the biggest hits with my family. the sauce with the breadsticks was the only negative...wayyyy to sweet. But you don't sauce for these garlicy, buttery morsels. We got the ranch cheese fries, yes, at a italian pizza joint......these impressed my family more than the cheese fries at Outback. We also had another New York style with sweet italian sausage and it was incredible. We were impressed and are soooo happy they also deliver over off of Clayton past Crestview Middle School. Dewey's down the road is great...but this place is genuine old school pizza...we...
