I would give this place less stars, but I won't let one situation depict the dedication that goes into feeding thousands of people in a day and the stress that comes with it.
I lve been here before during normal business hours and never had an issue. One night I came to get something to eat from here on my segway (because the inside was closed). I dont live here, but one of the terminals of my company is and I was stuck there for the night and wanted to finish my day with some good ol McDonalds. I rode all the way into town only to be rejected at the drive thru window. I explained to the manager on shift that I was hungry and just wanted some too. He denied me service because I wasn't in an actual vehicle (apparently its a store policy). After hearing my side of driving all day, you would think the MANAGER would say "hey, you know what I got you" right?
The original window employee took my order and had it all up on the screen and everything before they denied me service. But store policy is the store policy right? So I took my business to the burger king right anlcross the street and they treated me like the burger king. (They have the same store policy), but the manager represented his position and authority very well. So as far as ft dodge goes, burger king will get my business. They were understanding to an adult without his vvehicle's needs whilst...
Read moreWell, how should I begin? The middle age woman that waited on me was not friendly nor nice. She was teaching a young man how to make a smoothie(mine). He did a great job!!!!!! Now back to this woman, she works as a customer service(cashier and/or Manager)either one,she needs to show her co-workers and the customers some respect.I asked for a medium strawberry and Banana smoothie and I got a small one,if I new that it was as small as it was and I paid $3.00 &something for it.I WOULD HAVE NEVER ORDER IT.Even the older couple walking out, asked me "and that is a medium smoothie?"Thats a rip off. Anyways the main reason that I'm writing this review is that, the woman who waited on me,shouldn't be working in front of McDonald's,she should be in the back away from the customers with her attitude. The next time that I decided to eat at a McDonald's,it DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE THIS ONE.I would gladly pass this one up for the next one. I have worked customer service for more then 26yrs and I leave my personal problems at home and before I step foot through the doir at (my job)U leave it at the door. So woman from this McDonald's if you read this, put a smile on your face,if not put a FAKE SMILE on YOUR FACE,because the customers like to see some kind of happiness and/or friendliness on their server's face. Thank...
Read moreWe stopped here on our way to Topeka before the races, and again, on the way home after the races. 5/20/18. Both times the restaurant was filthy. Most of the tables had trash and food on them. In the morning we thought maybe it was just because they had had a rush, but, after finding out that it looked the same way on our trip home. We figured out that nobody cared. Napkin dispensers empty, no ketchup, another customer complaining about no dr. Pepper. The staff seemed completely overwhelmed even though there were very few people in the store. It also seemed like it took longer than most McDonald's to get our food. The food in the morning was fairly good. The food in the evening, we all agreed, was terrible. There were 4 adult men in my party, Three had Quarter Pounders, and I had a Big Mac. Apparently the bun toaster was not working. Take my advice, if they tell you the bun toaster is not working, turn around and go somewhere else. Apparently what they do to the Buns, makes a big difference in the finished product, because we all agreed that those were the worst McDonald's sandwiches we had ever had . I do not recommend this McDonald's until there is a management change. My...
