This review is for this trip only (the morning of June 28 2024) Scooters in Emporia Ks is normally great. Even when they have made a mistake they fix it and are very nice. I love the food and the Smoothies and usually the people that work there are awesome. I even got my daughter to start going there instead of the place she was going before. However this morning I had an encounter with a very rude employee I wish I had gotten her name but I was so shocked at her behavior and was trying to keep my cool and so I just wanted to get out of there. It shouldn't be hard to figure it out. I had asked the girl at the window for a bag since I had alot of food and some of it wasn't mine. The girl was very sweet and was putting it in the bags and another girl came rushing over and pushed her out of the way and began telling me that I couldn't make that request. She was extremely rude. It should have been obvious in the first place to put that much food in a bag rather than expecting me to throw it all in my seat. The small bags they put the food in barely keep it contained as it is. I have not been treated so rudely by an employee in a really long time. I had my Grandson with me or this would have gotten ugly really quickly. I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt but this kind of rudeness is unacceptable. If you are going to charge that much for a drink you need to train your employees to make it correctly! Every time we get a matcha there is a clump of matcha on the bottom of the drink.
