I am writing to formally express my profound dissatisfaction with the service and food quality during my visit to your restaurant on April 4th, 2025, at approximately 7:00 PM.
Upon arrival, our party was seated promptly, and our order was taken by our assigned waitress. However, after delivering our meals, she failed to return to our table to inquire if we required any additional items or assistance. The only subsequent interaction occurred when she provided us with takeout boxes, which we had not requested, making us feel unduly rushed. Notably, she attended to adjacent tables multiple times, offering assistance, which led us to feel marginalized and possibly subjected to discriminatory treatment, as we were the only Hispanic patrons present.
It was only after we requested to speak with the manager regarding this disparate treatment that the waitress began to address our needs. Her lack of a farewell upon our departure further exemplified the subpar service we experienced.
Regarding the cuisine, the pizza was excessively greasy, the wings lacked flavor, and the meatball pasta sauce appeared undercooked and unpalatable. While the restaurantās ambiance is commendable, the food and service quality were profoundly disappointing.
I urge you to address these concerns to prevent future patrons from enduring similar experiences. I look forward to your response regarding the measures you intend to implement to rectify...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI typically refrain from leaving reviews or complaining about minor issues, but our experience at this establishment was fraught with significant problems. We dined here with our two children on a Thursday evening at around 5 PM. Despite a slow crowd and few patrons, our experience was subpar.
Firstly, our salad arrived with a live beetle in it. While I understand that accidents happen, this was unsettling. We received a replacement salad, but the issues did not end there. I ordered spaghetti with marinara sauce, my children ordered pizza, and my husband ordered the vodka pasta. The children's pizza was served 19 minutes before our entrees. When our dishes finally arrived, my husband's meal was correct, but mine was not. Consequently, I had to wait while everyone else ate.
During happy hour, my husband ordered a beer, which was significantly delayed. When we received the bill, we were offered complimentary dessert due to the difficulties we encountered. However, the bill totaled $80.34, but the charge to our card was $94.76. Items were added to the tab after the bill was presented, which is unacceptable. The restaurant only removed the cost of the salad in the end.
Overall, our experience was very disappointing, and the situation was poorly handled. Despite our difficulties, the manager did nothing to address or rectify the situation. We expected better service and are very dissatisfied with how things...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI used to love Leucadia Pizzeria. Now I am hoping the place lands a spot on Kitchen Nightmares and has a humbling moment with Gordon. Our food was terrible. The pizza was loaded with so much cheese that it becomes inedible and undercooked. The crust was soggy and raw in parts. I know the lasagne my son got was frozen. Our chicken parm was terrible. The sauce is not from scratch.
The service was worse. Ashli the bartender was so sweet, but the only person serving everyone. She ran the bar and the entire- packed dining room alone. It took 2 hours to get through our one course meal. We ordered some salad to eat before our meal came and it came with the meal. Bread never came ever. We were left with the water pitcher. Kids sodas never refilled. Thankfully Ashli is the bartender and we sat near the bar and my wine was filled. We were there from 7-9 and at the end of the night a manager appeared out of nowhere. Couldnāt help Ashli all night but could show up to make sure everyone left.
There are so many great choices to eat in Encinitas and San Diego. Leicadia pizzeria used to be a stand out one we made a point to go to. I donāt know if we will be back until it gets back to what...
