Smoothie King — Restaurant in Englewood

I was SO excited this smoothie king was coming to the neighborhood. I’ve been here twice so far and have tried my best to be understanding that it is new and to give it time to get its bearings. Unfortunately both visits it’s taken nearly 20 minutes from ordering ONE smoothie to walking out the door. After observing the staff it is clear they are not familiar with efficiency. For example they only put one item in a blender at a time, despite there being 5 blenders. When the smoothie comes off the blender, instead of putting the next one on they take their time pouring it out into the cup, while 5 other smoothies pile up. It was very confusing and frustrating when my attempt was to run over between meetings to grab a quick lunch drink. I will likely try ordering ahead next time just to see if there is any difference in timeliness. Room for...
