I've ordered from this place before and got a Sicilian pie. It took about an hour for delivery, as expected because they take longer to cook. I Figured I would order from them again because I liked my previous experience. I ordered exactly what I got last time. After about an hour and twenty minuets I called to see what the status was with my order. I spoke to a man who was rude and impatient with me. Judging by the tone of his voice I could tell he was annoyed with me for simply asking about my order. He told me that Sicilian pizza's take longer to cook as if I was some inept moron that couldn't understand that a BIGGER pizza takes longer to cook. I did not exchange any emotions of anger and was completely neutral about it. I Shrugged it off and he told me my order was on its way. I continued to wait another 45 minuets before my pizza arrived. It took over two hours for me to get my order which is no exaggeration, and absolutely ridiculous. At this point I was just happy I got the food because I was hungry. I open the box, and right on top of the pizza was a crumpled up dirty receipt. I lift the pizza to look underneath to see if it was cooked properly. Areas of the pizza were still doughy and under cooked. I had to put the pizza BACK IN TO MY OWN OVEN to finish it off. The man also lied to me and told me my order was on it's way which it wasn't because it took another 45 minutes to arrive. I LIVE in Englewood. Two hours for a pizza just to have to finish cooking it myself AND they threw garbage on top of my pizza. The carelessness and the absolute disregard for my order is inexcusable. Disgusted with my second experience there, and wont be giving them my...
Read moreVittorio's Pizzeria has been my go-to spot for ages, and it's not just because of their awesome pizzas. This chill little joint in the heart of the city has got some seriously killer salads that keep me hooked every time I swing by.
During my recent trip to New York, I couldn't resist hitting up Vittorio's for a taste of nostalgia and their mouthwatering salads. The place has this super cozy vibe that makes you feel right at home as soon as you step in.
Now, their salads, man, they're something else. Packed with freshness and flavor, each bite is like a party in your mouth. From their classic Caesar salad with that creamy dressing and crispy croutons to the bomb Caprese salad with juicy tomatoes and creamy mozzarella, you can't go wrong with any of their creations.
What's really cool about Vittorio's is how they use the freshest ingredients to whip up these salads. You can totally taste the quality, and it's what keeps me coming back for more.
So, if you're in the city and looking for a pizza joint with more than just great pizza, Vittorio's is the place to be. Their salads are legit, and I guarantee you'll be stoked about them too. Give it a shot, and thank...
Read moreBeen going here since they opened about 20 years ago. Pizza is great (get the Cheesteak or Chicken Bacon Ranch pie...trust me).....their cheesesteaks are even better! I also enjoy their mozzarella sticks & homemade chicken soup. Their Stromboli's are huge! Italian Combo heroes and Penne with Vodka are also great! I haven't really had anything here I didn't enjoy. They are all super nice also! Open 7 days til 11 and fast delivery! P.S. to the reviewer who said they don't have garlic knots, they do. They have as long as I can remember.....and beef patties? No real Italian place sells those. That's like complaining they don't have mozzarella sticks at a Jamaican spot. Lol Also to the reviewer who said the person was lazy that lived 3 minutes away....how do you know they aren't disabled? There is an old folks home 2 blocks away. Maybe they were drunk and being responsible by not...
