Hello Management!
Every time I visit the Subway in Ennis, I’m met with rude service. Today I ordered a footlong on Italian Herbs and Cheese, only to be told “we only have one” with no clear explanation. When I asked questions, the employee became frustrated. At checkout, I was told my coupon couldn’t be used (which wasn’t explained up front), and the worker rolled her eyes and mumbled something under her breath. I was told I could use my coupon and needed up paying full price for a 6 inch sub.
This kind of treatment feels discriminatory, as Hispanic customers are treated with more patience and kindness. Ennis has no place for racism — all customers should be treated with respect. The teenage employee never acknowledged us and was just starting to make 3 foot long sandwiches that apparently was a call in order. She continued making these sandwiches for approximately 10 minutes before she was done. She was moving very slow and was in no hurry to get to us. By the time she finished the sandwiches, the person came in to pick them up. There were 2 additional customers that came in while we were waiting, and were waiting behind us.
