My mom was visiting me from out of town and I was looking forward to have a nice dinner with her. I chose this place because it had great reviews and the interior looked nice. Little did I know that the service was going to be so horrible. We were seated and started to look over the menu and chose 2 apps and a soup to start. We were hoping to try a bunch of different things and take left overs home. After placing our first order I went to the bathroom and my mom mentioned the waiter wanted to pick up the physical menu’s from our table. She gave him one and asked to keep the other as she did not have her phone to look up the web menu. She mentioned it was weird but I blew it off and thought it was normal. A few minutes later the greeter comes to our table and asks to take our menu because they don’t have enough menu’s for the new people arriving. At that point the restaurant was maybe around 30% capacity and we were still planning on ordering more but rushed to make a choice for the next dish. We were planning on ordering a dish to take home to my husband but I figured I would use the web version to take another look at the menu afterwards. Before our main entree came to the table our server comes up to us and tells us we have 45 minutes left at the table because there is a reservation coming soon. My mom and I were both so appalled, there were so many better ways to go about that! TBH we probably would have been done in 45 mins to an hour anyway but to be rushed out like that was just not the way to go. To top it off, any time we needed anything we had to flag the waiter down. The waiter did not come by to check if we were all good or needed anything else. The restaurant wasn’t even that full to excuse him not checking in. There were 2 main waiters working the floor and they would just awkwardly stand in a corner and stare at the tables without bothering to check in with them. Even after telling us we had 45 minutes, I finish my food have all the cues to indicate I was done. Sitting back, hands crossed, empty plate and he would look over at our table but did not approach to offer boxes for our left overs. Again I had to flag him down. If they were rushing us out you would think they would be attentive at offering that. By the time we are heading out the restaurant was maybe at 50% capacity. Plenty of space where another table could have been seated. Bad customer service aside, the food was ok. In my opinion not worth 4.9 stars. The exterior portions tasted good and were well seasoned but the interior felt like it needed to be marinated longer. Ordered duck and it was really dry. Skip this restaurant, the town square has many better options that have better tasting...

WHAT. AN. EXPERIENCE. That is the best way I can even begin to describe dinner last night at Weera Thai’s Seafood. Forget about a regular dinner, this was more of a culinary experience. A journey through Thailands shores with every dish, bite, and the aromas. To start off we had two Thai papaya salads that burst with flavors of freshly shredded papaya, tomatoes, peanuts, and a spicy and tangy dressing and some truly fresh jumbo shrimp. We then proceeded to order the pla pao, which shared amongst three adults was more than enough to satisfy us. The fish charcoals literally slid off the bones when I picked it up by the fishtail in an intent to flip it over and remove the meat. I really enjoyed it paired with the green sauce, although the red and yellow sauces were really good too. Adding to our experience, the seafood pad pah and the crab fried rice were really good choices to try for the first time. The homemade roasted curry paste used in the seafood pad pah was out of this world! Talk about authentic! A culinary adventure we didn’t think could get any better…did. A steamed lobster arrived to our table and we could not believe the size of this thing! It was giant, bright red, and MEATY! I’ve travelled all over the US and have never had lobster that tasted this good anywhere else. The creamy white colored meat was soo good alone, but it took another delicious flavor when dipped in Weera’s green sauce. To this point, everything had been perfect. The food had been beyond delicious, the Thai iced coffee was perfectly balanced, and the staffs service was immaculate. Their attention to detail and their commitment to our comfort far exceeded our expectations. We truly felt at home the way they made us feel like family. I, as well as my family, had a really good time here and we plan on coming back soon as well as telling our friends about this restaurant experience. From the moment you walk in and are greeted with warm smiles and see all the decor you know you’re going to experience something you never have before. Thank you to the Weera staff for an amazing night, an amazing dinner, an amazing experience....

Hayden immediately sat us down upon entry, and took very good care of us during our entire visit. Their beautifully decorated interior, with low lighting, is welcoming and relaxing. We looked at the menu and was surprised to see a lot of dishes we've never seen in any other Thai or seafood restaurants. See my photos of the menus. Just as we were trying to decide what to get, I asked our server if they had any chef specials. Fortunately for us, they had two very good ones. One was a special on oysters from Santa Barbara, and the other one was a full steamed lobster for a ridiculously low price. We figured for that price, it wasn't going to be very big or very good. But we thought we would give it a try anyway. Boy, am I glad we did! The lobster was perfectly cooked, and cracked for us, even with the tail removed and prepared cut. The oysters were nothing short of amazing! They were served with a mild hot sweet Thai roasted chili sauce, fried red onion chips and a sauce which I could only describe as a Thai pesto. It must have had some basil and lime, but I don't know what else. It was really good. They called it their Seafood sauce, which was also what we used with our lobster, instead of butter. I can't even tell you how little we paid, because it's probably not going to be available at that price again. We look forward to coming back and trying their regular menu items! The interior was extremely clean, all the servers and everybody working there was very nice. Even the bathrooms were clean, modern and high-tech. From the very beginning to the very end, I was impressed with everything. We are definitely coming back to this place! SIX...

Honestly, we had much better crab fried rice where you could actually taste the crab. Their larb was pretty dry, which ruins any dish, tbh. Their fried pampano was, sadly, less than average. Better to fry your own fish at home. Lastly, their mango mochi rice dessert was ok. I've had better. Now for everything else. Their duck curry is one of the best I've had. Their Pad See Ewe was on point. It was the 1st time for a bunch of us trying Lao Nam Cao, but we enjoyed it much more than the Larb, and Larb is one of our faves. This restaurant is fairly new, so it isn't busy. Hence, good, attentive, and fairly prompt service. Fairly, because there were a few dishes that too a while to be served, considering we and only one other party was in the restaurant. The menu is pretty pricey. I say you can get better food at a hole in the wall type of Thai restaurant, but if you're looking for fairly fast, attentive service w/ average tasting food w/ good presentation, and don't have a budget, then this is the place for you.
