I have been a loyal Sephora customer for yearsssss but donât like coming to this store because I seriously feel stalked. I usually know what I need when I come in & donât need a basket. I had two different sales staff try to push a basket into my hand, even after I said I didnât want one. One employee tried to take the item I had in my hand and tried to put it in a basket. At one point I did need to ask a staff person where to find an accessory & she showed me. I thanked her & said I didnât need any more help. She turned to help another customer & immediately another staff person else was right on me. It happened at each stop I made in the store.
The last time I came, I went to pick up my favorite face mask. It had moved so asked where it was. The sales person told me there are better brands & they were cheaper. I said I liked what I was getting and had discussed it with my aesthetician. She kept talking. I started walking to the register & she then tried to upsell me on other skin products. I had needed other items but was so annoyed that after paying, I walked to Ulta and bought my makeup! ugh
I worked sales at a high end home store so I understand that staff needs to be available & let customers know about new products and promotions. But if a customer is contentedly reading or politely says sheâs fine, please let her be!

   Read moreHad a not so great experience turn into a great one. I don't look for a lot when evaluating service. I am not exactly a pretty guy and I was looking into perfume for my wife without her. I knew exactly what I wanted for her. She trusts me to get something that smells great. I was looking for someone to help me in the store yesterday evening. Seemed like nobody wanted to assist me. They probably thought they would be walking around with me for a long time thinking I didn't know what I was looking for. Or maybe they were just busy. Then Emily came over and asked if I needed help. She seemed so happy to assist me. I told her exactly what I wanted and she searched everywhere for it. Even looked at other stores. She finally found what I wanted and ordered it for me. I typed in the wrong email address unfortunately (my fault) and never got an email with my order confirmation. When I called back, Angelica answered and was also very pleasant to deal with. She offered to help me in any way she could. Made me feel more comfortable with my order and let me know to call back if I had any issues. I will gladly take my wife into this store again. I may even be willing to go in by myself to shop for her again. These two employees made my awkward shopping experience into one I felt I needed to give a positive review on.    Read moreI walked in here on 01/29 to purchase 2 gifts for 2 Birthdays. I was so excited to see all the new stuff. I get to the fragrance section and the woman there is looking in the mirror. I kindly give her a smile and ask if I can get assistance grabbing a fragrance or if I needed to go to the counter to ask for it. She rolled her eyes and didnât even bother looking at me and said I can grab it. What do you need. Although she did grab the perfume I needed. She gave me the biggest attitude for absolutely. No reason I brushed it off. I said thank you, and I didnât get a response. She didnât even look at me and rolled her eyes back to what she was doing. Then I get to the checkout Area and when it is my turn, I say to the cashier hello how are you? I get no response. She looks annoyed. She rolled her eyes at me. There is a very awkward silence. She packs my stuff I pay and I say thank you so much for all your help. Again, she stays quiet and doesnât even acknowledge anything. I understand having rude customers, but I was very nice with a smile on my face. There was no need for her to treat me this way. Or for both of them to treat me this way Sephora is not cheap so you know I spent about $400 on these gifts all to be treated...
