Local bar with really good cheap food. Line dancing lessons and Karaoke are offered certain nights of the week. There's a patio in front and a jukebox. No bar games. Surprisingly huge dining room with a little tiny dance floor that gets packed! Read moreI go here occasionly for their karaoke, a nice little unpretentious bar with an older crowd. With decent drink prices. The one caveat is the karaoke dj, an older gentleman who seems to think he is the owner. Or a rock god of comstock, unfriendly and sour pussed when not feining excitement on stage. He's a staple of the establishment who seems to dislike the younger crowd and people of color. Read moreI have been going to Comstock almost every Wednesday evening for Karaoke for over two years. Mainly for karaoke. The Karaoke jockey, Doug, is only there on Wednesday nights.
Doug was a big help in getting this shy girl started. The crowd is very accepting of new comers and new singers.
I think there is a different jockey some other nights but Doug is my favorite.
The food is good. The drinks are good. The Karaoke is the most fun you ever had.
