Already the fact that it cost $20 to purchase a single meal is ridiculous, but I went there because as a vegetarian I needed something to eat on my way home because it was a long drive and I didnāt have time to stop and eat anywhere
Unfortunately while I paid $20 for an impossible burger, green beans, and a single drink I was instead given someone elseās order and did not realize until I had almost finished the burger thinking that they had made a mistake and not giving me the mushrooms that I had paid $2! More for and not realizing that the mistake was they had given me a meat burger, and spicy green beans which I could not eat as I donāt eat spicy food.
I threw the food away when I got home, but no I did not turn around and go back as by the point that I figured out what they had done I was 15 miles down the road and was not going to spend an extra half hour in an already long drive to go back to the restaurant.
I felt sick to my stomach after realizing I had eaten 2/3 of a meat cheeseburger when Iām a vegetarian and I do not eat meat.
This is an ethical choice I have made to not eat meat and so it is not just paying $20 for a meal that I had to throw away, itās the fact that now I am personally upset.
If Habit Burger is unable to give people the vegetarian burger when it is ordered, they should not be offering vegetarian options. Most vegetarianās are vegetarian from an ethical standpoint and it is a very personal decision that has a lot of emotions attached to the eating of meat

Ā Ā Ā Read moreBeen wanting to try The Habit for a while,a birthday burger was the perfect opportunity. The place was spotlessly clean on arrival, with only a few patrons at 4pm on a Wednesday. Staff greeted us, and said they'd help us or we could use the self-service kiosks, we went for the in-person option. I had a double char, half fries/half rings, and a Dr. Pepper. The food came out in about 8 minutes, hot and fresh. My burger was juicy, well-seasoned, and hot, with crisp pickles and cold lettuce and tomatoes, super melty cheese, and sweet grilled onions. I loved it from first bite. It's a little smaller in diameter than a whopper or super star, so the double isn't as overly-filling as those, but just the right size for a dinner burger. Fries were super crispy yet tender inside (my wife said they were the best she's ever had), and the onion rings crispy and well-seasoned. I was very happy with my first Habit experience. Clean place, friendly staff, great food. A bit pricey compared to some fast-food places, but better than most and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt know why it has taken me this long to write this review. It seems EVERY SINGLE TIME we drive thru this establishment, there is an error with our order. It is not until weāve driven home that we find the error and by then, itās not worth the time and effort to drive all the way back to get it fixed. This time, we paid extra to add an impossible patty to one of our burgers. The purchase receipt AND order receipt confirmed this. Alas, we get home and no extra patty. Prior to this, we asked for the burger with no cheese (vegan). We get home and there was cheese melted all over the burger. What are we supposed to do? Pull over and literally unwrap the burgers each time to make sure the toppings, patties, etc. are all correct? This has now happened THREE times. Whatās worse is that Iāve written complaints via the corporate website before and I NEVER hear back. No offer of compensation. No apology. No offer to āmake it right.ā Shame on us for giving them another chance. But at this point, theyāve...
