The absolute worse experience that we’ve had in any restaurant in our lives! We walked in and immediately felt a cold shoulder. There are two sides of the pub one side looks more family oriented, more restaurant style, with booths, (which is where we were looking to be seated) other side has more tables and a bar but a waitress/bartender came from the other side and stated it was packed on that side that we had to be seated on the bar side along the window, on a tiny table. Must I remind you, the opposite side of where we were seated was not by any means packed there were several open seats. We sat down and waited few minutes before a different waitress/bartender asked us what we wanted to drink, we ordered drinks and some fried mushrooms. Those came out maybe within 10-15 minutes not bad. Then the same lady came back to take our order. We ordered a cheese burger, and what was supposed to be a bbq sausage sandwich. We waited over an hour for our food, and before we even got it the waitress came and apologized for the wait and said “I did some deep deep investigation in the kitchen and your food should be out shortly, and because it’s been awhile we are going to give you a huge discount” and then asked us if she wanted us to pack it to go, like why even ask that? We specifically sat down to dine in, it’s like she was trying to push us out! But also Mind you there were several folks that came in 20-30 minutes after us that got there food within 10-15 minutes. While we sat and waited no one checked in on us, asked us if we needed anything else you know the normal hospitality a waitress has at a restaurant. Then when the food finally came out packaged there was no silverware so I had to ask, and when we got to our hotel, the burger was raw when I specifically told the lady NO PINK medium well, my burger came with absolutely no condiments (I asked for ranch for my fries not knowing there was wasn’t ketchup or any other condiments and did put some on the burger on my own) fries were raw and cold along with the rest of our food, my husband’s food was awful it came with ripped up sausages between two buns with no bbq sauce as it was supposed to be a sausage bbq sandwich. The menu stated fries and baked beans, and it came with coleslaw and beans we got 50% off but should’ve been free, I will never recommend this place, nor return if I could give zero stars I would! Worst place ever, oh and my husband and I were the only Hispanic people in that place and we definitely...
Read moreUnfortunately I did not have a pleasant experience at Cousin Pat's Pub & Grill. When we arrived around 1:00 pm there was only about 3 other customers there. The atmosphere was very nice, quiet, and a clean appearance.I Informed the greeter that there would be 12-15 joining me in my group. The immediate response was " Oh, OK, I guess we can do that". After a few pleasantries, we placed our order. The food was delivered in a timely manner, however the quality of the food was very unacceptable. Many of us ordered the daily special, chicken fried steak. I personally had the fish. When our food was served, the chicken fried steak was so thin you could hardly tell there was any meat at all. The breading was fried to a crisp. Literally it crumbled when cut into. If fact the order my father in law had was just breading. I ended up taking his plate to the attendant and asked for another one. I was very embarrassed since I had selected this place. His second serving wasn't much better. My order of fish was a bit better. I thought I had made a good choice by selecting the fish until i too cut into it. The breading was puffed up and there was very little fish in the center of it as well. Several of the group ordered the hamburgers. They did comment that it was very good.
We ( the group that I was with) are not fancy people and don't expect the "top of the line" food from a Pub & Grill. But this food was appalling, to say the least. I know of about 50 people that visit the Estes Park area on a yearly basis. Needless to say I will not recommend Cousin Pat's Pub & Grill to them.
We all paid the requested amount on our tickets and gave the normal 15% - 20% tip in spite of our...
Read moreAs a self-proclaimed Packer's bar, you have to play the Packer games. Understandably due to the times, Cousin Pat's chose not to purchase their commercial subscription of NFL RedZone/Sunday Ticket. Fine, it's expensive and guest numbers are limited because of Covid. Place opened at 11AM, which is extremely odd as this is kickoff, and the Broncos game started the moment the doors opened as well. Again, fine. When asked if they would be purchasing the $80 game, they responded several times, "yes, we are working on that right now". We finally decided to sit at the bar and have a drink. Being from Wisconsin, we were hungry, and very VERY thirsty. A total of three of us, it was quite obvious we would be good customers as we ordered 5 drinks right off the bat. During our time awaiting the order of the pay-per-view game, we watched 3 other Packer geared groups walk in and out because CP's inability to turn on the game. By middle of the second quarter, the bartender and owner had told us time and time again that it was being worked on. The bartender went as far to say she thinks the owner was attempting to get us to drink enough to no longer care about the game, which by the way is absurd to think of a Packer fan so disgustingly. Of course we'd care more. We finally realized we had been duped by their smoke and mirrors when the owner came out of the back to serve nachos he had presumably just finished making. Not only should CP's be forced to remove the 'Official Packer Bar' sign hanging on the wall of the establishment, but they should be forced to hang a 'Official Liars Work Here' plaque in it's place. All-in-all, terrible experience, but great great...
