I am a Pastor at the Christian Church of Estes Park and this weekend I took my youth group on an overnight rafting trip with Colorado River Expeditions, and all I can say is - WOW. The service and quality of the trip was unmatched to any excursion I've ever done. There was literally nothing that could have made it better. We met at the CRE offices where we were shuttled through the national park to the CO river in an incredibly comfortable Sprinter vans. Once we were on the river, our guides, Colin and Francie, were so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable of the river. After rafting for a good while, we arrived at our campsite that Logan, the owner of the company and another rafting guide, Mae, had already set up with tents, chairs, drinks, grills, and were already working on cooking and serving us dinner. We ate a delicious dinner with our feet in the water, watched a gorgeous sunset together, were left in awe at the stars that filled the sky and the shooting stars that flew by as we told ghost stories by the fire. The next day we were served both breakfast and lunch, played games, had tube races down the river, and relaxed by the water. Overall, I cannot recommend Colorado River Expeditions highly enough. Logan and his team have absolutely outdone themselves in terms of quality and excitement, and if you have the cash, do not hesitate to do an overnight trip with them. This company is worth every penny you choose to spend with them. A special thanks to Logan, Francie, Colin, and Mae for making our overnight trip so special and memorable. We can't wait to do it again next year!

Incredible experience! My family was blown away by this day trip. This was so much more than your typical rafting trip. It started with a ride in their very well appointed Mercedes sprinter van (much more comfortable than the typical retired school bus). We drove from Estes through the RMNP where Logan and Kumar (a genuine “River Sherpa” from Nepal) shared history and stories about the park. On our trip we saw moose, bear and even bald eagles. Once we got to the river we had a brief safety discussion and we were on our way. It was early August so the river level was way down. Logan still made the rafting fun by giving the kids opportunities to swim and jump off the raft in areas where it was safe to do so. We stopped for lunch at a small island in the river. Logan and Kumar set up a grill for burgers and hot dogs. They also set out chairs for us to relax in the river and even a pop-up bathroom. After a delicious lunch Logan set up a table for gold panning. I thought this was going to be boring but it was awesome. My kids said this was the highlight of our entire Colorado trip. The kids each found a few small pieces of gold which Logan let them keep. Before we finished up the rafting trip Logan pulled over to the bank and led us on a short hike to see fossilized dinosaur tracks! This was so much more than a rafting trip. Well done Logan and Kumar!

Hold onto your river hats because rafting with Logan and Kumar, our fearless guides, was an absolute blast! These guys are rockstars of the rapids. From start to finish they effortlessly navigated the river, making sure everyone felt comfortable and engaged throughout the journey. Their knowledge of the area and passion for rafting truly enhanced the experience. After conquering rapids like pros, we were treated to the ultimate riverside BBQ feast. We ate like kings and enjoyed a ton of additional activities that provided a perfect balance of excitement and relaxation. Gold panning added a touch of history and intrigue to the trip, while the walking tour of the mine allowed us to delve into the region's rich heritage. Plus, games like bocce and ox toss added a fun, competitive edge to our day, creating unforgettable memories with our fellow adventurers. If you're seeking a remarkable outdoor experience packed with fun, adrenaline, history, and delicious food, grab your paddle and look no further than Colorado River Expeditions. It's the perfect blend of thrill and chill, guaranteed to leave you with a lifetime of cherished memories. Five stars? Heck, let's make it six!
