I couldn't have asked for a better experience or a more customer friendly staff. Before going to The Stereo Shop! I had a few bad experiences with other car audio stores doing work on my car, which made it hard for me to find a shop that I felt that I could trust to not screw me over. That changed today; after my very positive experience getting a new deck installed in my car at The Stereo Store!, I have no doubts about The Stereo Store! being a store that I can actually trust and I know I will be going here anytime I need any car audio or home theater work done.

I emailed the store to ask if I needed to set up a appointment, and was replied to very quickly by Allen, who got me an appointment set up for the next day, shortly after my initial email. I arrived to the store a few minutes early, to be greeted happily and helped right away. The staff was very knowledgable, helpful, very friendly, and exhibited great customer service throughout the transaction and installation (I had a new head unit installed and replaced burnt out wires from the previous head unit).

The staff had the head unit that I had decided upon (ahead of time) ready to go, when I got there. The installation and wire replacement went very quickly (15-20 minutes tops). When the installation was finished, Allen went with me to make sure I was happy with the installation (which I was); and also taught me where everything was on the deck and how to pair my phone and ipod to the deck via bluetooth. He then went even a step further and helped me dial in all of the the audio control settings and levels. The staff did a very clean job on the installation itself, I have no complaints about the product or the installation quality. The deck works and looks great; they found and replaced the burnt wires which caused the last deck to burn out (previous car audio shop didn't wire my old deck correctly), and let me know what had happened; and finally, they didn't leave a mess in the car after the install.

The store had a decent (though somewhat limited) selection of head units to chose from, although I didn't have a problem finding one that did everything I wanted plus some. They did however, have a big selection of speakers, subwoofers (and boxes), and amplifies; ranging from lower end options to extreme high end options (including DC Audio, and Focal Audio), and everything in between. The pricing was diffidently fair for both the deck and the install; especially considering (from what I was told by staff) that their work (wiring/install) is under warranty for as long as you have the vehicle.

Overall, The Stereo Store! is an excellent car audio shop with an impressive selection of products, and a knowledgable and helpful staff that not only do do very clean installation work; but also go the extra mile to take care of their customers and ensure their satisfaction, for example, Allen taking the time to help get the audio control settings dialed in on my new deck or to teach me about my new deck. I know I'll be doing my future car audio business with The Stereo Store!, and will recommend anyone who is looking for a car and home audio store that...

I brought my brand new 2018 F150 in to get a Subwoofer and an amp installed. First impressions were that the show room floor was very cluttered and not presentable and sales associates were too busy to talk. When I finally got someone to talk with me, they were nice and helped me figure out some options. The box they built for my subwoofer looks great and fits behind my seat great, however they made some bad cuts in the material behind the seat and didn't bother even attempting to fix it. The box is also not secured to anything, literally some velcro stapled to the box and some glued to the truck body would fix this. They also charged me a few hundred dollars extra for a smaller amp to fit behind the seat with the subwoofer... it didn't end up fitting back there so they mounted it under the passenger seat... a larger, equally able, less expensive amp would have fit there but they just went ahead and put the more expensive compact amp in (we even discussed this scenario before the install and I told them I don't need the compact amp if that ended up being the case). They did price match the products with Amazon prices upon my request which was nice. After the install I noticed that there was static noise coming through the speakers connected to the amp. I let them know and they took it for a day and "looked into it" they said they can't fix it. I found online that a ground wire longer than 1-2 feet could cause static noise, the ground from my amp is like 6+ feet long. Ha. After $1000+ spent I personally expect a more...

My install was no easy task for what I wanted in a stereo system in my car. The car was a stock 72 VW Super Beetle. Original AM radio with the single speaker in the dash. My goal.... a super thumper that I could still hear lyrics and be clear enough to know what the lyrics were. I ordered my own radio because none of the aftermarket radios would fit in the original opening without cutting the dash. I wanted one that still looked stock, but had most of today's " bells and whistles". I went with a 300w custom autosound, specific for my bug and year. The rest was up to the staff at The Stereo Store. They took me into the demo room and we tried lots of different combinations of front, rear, subs and amplifiers. My situation was more difficult as I am legally deaf! But not all the way deaf. They took their time, answered a billion questions it seems, never got frustrated with me and in the end, we had a nice plan for a system. The Technician that installed my system had his work cut out for him. He was even knowledgeable in classic bugs. I needed custom speaker mounts front and rear, as I didn't want to cut any holes in the car or panels for speakers. They did a superb, custom job mounting and placing the 5 speakers and amplifier. In the end, the system sounded and looked great! Also, they got my system done fast! One day! They don't know it yet, but I'm coming back for probably a remote 6 disc CD install to add...
