My wife and I went for their lunch buffet on a Sunday. There was a fair selection of veggie and meat options ranging from a goat curry to multiple chicken dishes to okra, and mushroom dishes. Being from South India, it was refreshing to see some items like Sambar on the buffet line. The quality of the food was acceptable. Their Gobi Manchurian was probably my favorite as it had a fair amount of spice. As you cannot customize spice level for buffets, the level of spice is relatively dull but understandably so considering they have to be a business that tailors to the general public/local population. I will say where this restaurant falls short is the options considering it's hefty price tag for the buffet. This buffet was $22. I have been to several Indian buffets that were far less expensive and would serve Chai and/or Mango Lassi part of their buffet line. Those are the buffets that I give 5 star reviews. The folks here were kind but appeared busy. Wish they would have offered Chai as an option. A bonus of this establishment is that they had clean bathrooms which are often overlooked by businesses. Overall, I'd say if you are willing to spend the penny, they have a good variety of decent quality food to indulge on. Personally, I think the price is too high to justify the overall experience especially when there are many other buffets that are less expensive with more options. Pros: + Variety of food + Overall quality of food + Cleanliness + Full salad bar Cons: - Price - Lack of Chai and dessert options other than rice and bread pudding - Need more staff to attend to all customers

I order from Evergreen fairly regularly and the food is always great but the service I had tonight was terrible. I called in my order at 6:30ish and was quoted half an hour until it would be ready for pickup. The food was not handed to me until 7:50ish! While waiting in the lobby I was repeatedly ignored and there was no explanation for why order was taking so long. Multiple times I was told "5 more minutes". I watched people sit down in the dining room, eat and leave all while waiting for two entrees and Naan. When the food was finally done there was no offer of compensation for my long wait. As someone who also works in a restaurant I understand mistakes are made but if I sent out food with that long of a ticket I would at least apologize and try and keep customers coming back. Give Evergreen a try but beware it really seems like they do not prioritize take out orders. Photo for reference for when order was placed to the time they bagged it up and finally finished it

My cheese naan was literally burnt black, you could smell and taste it. The tomato in my food still has the stem part on it and tasted so disgusting when I bit into it. I called the order in ahead of time and they said it would be about 20 minutes. I showed up 22 minutes later and still ended up waiting over 15 minutes for the food to be ready. I was on a 30 minute lunch while at work which is why I called it in ahead of time. I was picking up 3 orders total for me and my coworkers and they put all of our rice in one container together but gave us no plates or anything so that we could separate or dish up our food. So not only do we not have time to eat cause they waisted our entire lunch, but we have no way of even taking our food to our desks or work area. Worst experience ever and not worth the almost $20 each for each meal. I only gave them 2 stars because the chicken tikka masala tasted decent and good portions.

We got there with high expectations from the raving we read online about the food. We are seated by a waitress who barely says two words to us. We look over the menu and decide what we want in less then five minutes. We are then left to sit there for over 15 minutes waiting for some one to take our order. Finally the waitress comes to the table and says a very rude "sorry for the wait" with no sincerity whatsoever. We place our order and wait for our food which came in decent time. Our mango lassi never came, even though the couple across from us ordered the same thing and it came instantly. The worst part was sitting there for over 20 minutes waiting for our bill while our waitress ignored us. When the bill finally did come the mango lassi was on it and i asked our waitress to remove it seeing as we never received it, nor were we asked once if everything in our meal was okay. We were forgotten once again and after 5 minutes we had to stop the waitress and ask for her to bring the bill back. She brought back the bill with the mango lassi still on it. At that point I was pissed. She went back changed the bill and brought it back within 2 minutes... Over all the food was okay, my husbands chicken tandoori was dry and there was no sharp knife brought with it. I would have enjoyed it much more if the service was better. I can honestly say it was the worst service I have ever received. The waitress, who wouldnt even make eye contact with us, was either an airhead or has no pride in giving good service. I would have come back if the service was good, but after that, you will never find me at Evergreen...

Terrible service! Dirty interior. Not appealing, Dirty carpets, needs to be updated, uninviting. First off, the place is hard to find unless you know where to look for it (the sign is old and barely visible and half lit, and desperately needs to be replaced or updated, and currently looks like it advertises a hotel/motel instead of a restaurant). Then, when we walked in, the inside was dark and cleanliness became an instant concern with the lack of it so apparent. The table we were given was sticky and unclean, the seats were bouncy and made me feel like I was in the back of a school bus in sixth grade. After sitting for a full 15 minutes before our order was even taken, we waited for another 30 minutes before receiving our food, and our waitress even forgot to bring us our appetizers to sustain us the wait, and instead had another waitress bring us our meal and appetizers together! I noticed that the second waitress had waited on us and at least three other tables by herself, and we only saw our waitress once, and suddenly scramble to make a last ditch effort as she waited for us to sign our tab and leave. We left feeling neglected while there, and suddenly rushed out at the end. Costumers should NOT have to wait for 45 MINUTES FOR ANY KIND OF FOOD! IF YOU EAT HERE, BRING A SNACK. DO NOT MAKE PLANS FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT, BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT MAKE IT! Some of the worst costumer service I have seen in a long time! But the food was good; however the price is too steep for the portions (or lack thereof). I doubt we...
