This is my first time ever leaving a 1 star. We are regulars and eat here nearly every day. Clara is usually the one working and she is wonderful! She is always kind and welcoming and all the veggies are always fresh. We were just there last night and had a great experience like always. But when I went back on my lunch this afternoon, it was a night and day difference. The man that was working at 12:30pm today was rude from the moment I opened the door. Instead of saying hi or anything welcoming, he literally sighed and rolled his eyes. When I walked up and said "hi", he just snapped back "what kind of bread!" He acted like he was annoyed and inconvenienced by me coming in (there were no other customers in the store)
I ordered the same sweet onion teriyaki that I get every day. He put less than one scoop of chicken on my footlong, 6 tiny peices of chicken on 12" of bread. It was ridiculous. I was reluctant to say anything because of how rude he was being but thought maybe it was just a mistake so I kindly asked him if he could add the second scoop. He snapped at me again "its already portioned. Its ONE scoop! If you want more you're gonna pay for it". (I come here and order this same exact thing 3 - 5x a week and its always 1 scoop for 6", and 2 scoops for a footlong) But he was so rude I didn't even want to argue with him. Then we get to veggies and I've never seen Subways veggie trays look so terrible. That's the whole reason I love subway, because everything is usually so fresh. But this time everything was soggy and wilted. At this point I wanted to just turn around and leave.
I dont know who this guy is but his attitude and "service" was deplorable. If we ever come in and he's working, we'll be turning around immediately and going somewhere else.
As for Clara, if this review were about her, it would be 5 stars! That girl is an...
Read moreTasty Sandwiches but Room for Improvement in Customer Service
I recently visited Subway for a quick and convenient meal, and while the sandwich itself met my expectations, I couldn't help but feel disappointed by the customer service experience.
The sandwich I ordered was freshly prepared and had all the ingredients I asked for. The taste was enjoyable, and the portion size was satisfying. It was a decent meal that lived up to Subway's reputation for providing customizable, tasty sandwiches.
Unfortunately, the staff members on duty during my visit seemed unenthusiastic and disinterested. They hardly acknowledged my presence and lacked the friendly demeanor I've come to expect from most establishments. It was clear that they were not engaged in their work, which dampened the overall experience.
Subway has always been a reliable choice for a quick and satisfying meal, but in this particular instance, the lackluster customer service left me feeling underwhelmed. I hope that management will address this issue and improve the service quality in the future, as I believe it is essential to providing a positive experience for...
Read moreWould give zero stars if possible. "Sandwich Artist" (sole employee on duty) was unfriendly to the point of being rude, my ordering had apparently interrupted his phone time. The store was out of multiple ingredients (turkey, ham, pepperoncinis). The store's notice blamed "supply chain" issues but other Subways don't seem to have that issue and besides none of us actually believe that overused excuse anymore. The "toasted" sandwich was stone cold. One sandwich had mayo that tasted rancid. For both sandwiches the bread seemed dry and stale. The employee apparently was unhappy because I didn't leave a tip (I don't tip for rude, dude) and made a low voiced but unpleasant sounding remark as I was leaving the store. I wasn't sure I'd heard right so I turned and asked, what? And it was repeated but in a lower voice so camera audio may not have heard either remark. BTW I do not have hearing issues, plus it's kinda hard to mistake 'tude. Needless to say I will NOT be back AND I will be warning my friends to beware of this very UNtypical...
