If you have a sweet tooth and find yourself in or near Eureka Springs, Anna Mae's is MUST stop! My partner and I stopped there yesterday for a late night treat, and walked into a bright and clean space filled with wonderful colors and a warm nostalgia. They're stocked with a wide variety of Blue Bell ice creams, homemade pastries, and number of other goodies! My partner got a double scoop, which was filled to the brim, and I tried a homemade brown sugar cinnamon pastry that was perfectly crispy and flaky, filled with warm spices and just the right amount of sweetness. The real treat, however, is the owner - an absolute gem of a human being, who makes you feel like an old friend the minute she greets you. Hello Living H.I friends!! Just wanted to give a little update/heads up. I am not and will not be open this weekend. BBBQ.. is not family friendly and I do not and will not participate in it. It's a safety issue for one and for 2 not something I support. I am a woman owned and operated business and I will not risk the well being, safety, or lives of myself, my employees or my customers. There have already been some unsavory events and issues in town bc of our current visitors and thats enough validation for me that I've made the right decision. I'm sorry for any inconvenience but please stay safe and have a great weekend!! Ill see you all next Thursday for my normal hours!! Thank you so much for your understanding, consideration and of course for your continued love...

I asked him what to order as a 1st timer, and he said the meatloaf and that it had gained a cult following. He was right - it was delicious. Served with creamy mashed potatoes and green beans cooked in bacon, it was great comfort food. Of course I had to get dessert! They had an awesome selection that looked like someone's grandma was in back. I opted for the apple cobbler and vanilla ice cream with carmel sauce. Wow. I can't wait to go back next time I'm anywhere near...
