I thought the store was fantastic, we th cool vintage items ready to be bought. I found an especially unique item -a Hall Autumn Leaf water jar with lid. I had just begun shopping when I found it, so brought it to the desk for the young lady to safely hold. She didn’t look at me, but gestured to a white table to the left of the desk. I reluctantly left it there, but thought it safe there.
I continued shopping, picking up a couple of smaill object and returned to the desk. When I asked the young woman (long brown hair) where the Hall water jar was, she informed me that she sold it to an Oder woman who said that it was hers. I was livid, as I’ve looked for Autumn Leaf pottery for years and have never seen that particular piece. I thought of her that if she had been looking at my face instead of down when I left it, she would likely not have sold it to a thief. The young woman acted like a two year old instead of a grown woman working in customer service.
To the young woman working in the store, as well as the the liar who took my piece, I do hope you receive as you have given. KB,...
Read moreThis was a surprisingly subpar experience. I'd actually consider it in the bottom 3 antique malls that I've ever gone to.
Their prices are outrageous. I don't pretend to know how much they need to markup their stuff to make a profit, but the necessity doesn't overcome the highness of their prices. We didn't find even one item that we thought was worth what they were asking.
They also were playing grating, annoying music in the store. I understand that that is a personal issue. Perhaps the music won't bother you.
This was one of the least antique-y antique malls I've been to. There were definitely some, but a lot of it was a hodgepodge of minor collectibles. Many antique malls carry these, but I thought that they comprised way too much of their stock.
Also, this place was wildly disorganized, even for an antique mall.
What's crazy is that they apparently have a sister store, which we also went to, and that store is absolutely a top-notch, 5-star experience. It's weird how...
Read moreMy husband and I had a great experience here yesterday. We’re just in town for the weekend and we love checking out local secondhand shops. This place has a great variety of booths, one in particular caught my husband’s eye: a booth showing locally handmade cigar box guitars and amps. He is a guitar aficionado so he was super impressed with the craftsmanship. We almost walked away empty handed but just as we walked out the door, I encouraged hubby to get one of the guitars. And we are SO glad we did. He’s been playing it non stop since we brought it back. It sounds so great unplugged! We couldn’t recommend this place enough. The owners were so friendly and helpful when we asked about what other places to check out in the area. And if you’re looking for anything in the particular, just ask. They seem to be a great resource for anyone looking for something unique or...
