I’ve tried to restrain from eating here and leaving a review for over a year! But today is the day. Last night went through the drive through at 9:38. Waited a few minutes till I was at the actual order screen. No biggie, I get it. Your busy. Told to wait once at Oder screen. Cool again. Lots of people (4) ahead of me. Then I was asked for my order or will I be using the mobile app. No thanks just making an order. My order: 2x #7 large 1 coke 1 OJ Kids meal extra fries w/ chocolate milk. 10 piece nugget entire only w/ sweet and sour sauce. That completes the order. Pay lovely man good service. Second window… well the decline of service begins. lol
Simply opens window says nothing but pull to spot 2. Closes window.
9:48 two employees approached with neighbor cars food. Get it still busy.
Tells me they will be right out with my order. Cool. Thank you.
9:58 my 4 cheeseburgers arrived. No fries, no drinks and no kids meal. Told the employee 4 TIMES what I was missing. Said okay. I’ll be right back. 10:15 roooools around. I say nope I’m going in hot. lol
Employee from spot 2 encounter greats me with how can I… oh my god I’m so sorry I totally forgot you.
Okay well can I get the rest of my order. Hold a minute. What did you need. Repeating again twice… Has another employee come help me. He takes my receipt and is making a valid effort to correct waiting time. Still asked 3 times again what was needed. Explained. Brought the drinks first to me. No OJ high c cola. Had to decline. The got the OJ.
10:38 I walk out with my head up the clouds of WTF just happened to an hour of my life for MCDONALDS. Oh… still didn’t get the chocolate milk.
If this was a one time occurrence I would said no to this review the past 4-5 times in the past year I’ve rolled up here.
But no longer. My good please leave the reefer at home. I get it. It’s stressful slinging food. I’ve done it. But I was a little more aware of my mistakes then EVERY SINGLE TIME ITS THE SAME THING.
Management (GOOD) management is so needed here.

Read moreI hate to do this but out of all the McDonald's I've been to through my travels of most of the US as I'm from Kansas city, this McDonald's was probably the worst one I've ever been to. The drive through attendant had to be told about 10 times per meal what each meal was supposed to be than when we got to the window my mom's card said transaction not accepted so I tried my credit card I literally just used and it said the same response and I tried to tell the drive through attendant her machine had to be acting up because during this conversation I'm staring at my credit card balance through my capital one app, the attendant tells me that no my card is not any good lol. So we pull out a 3rd credit card and tried it and same response and now she decides to get a manager.
Now this is where the situation drastically declines down hill..
So the manager comes out and several others come out pull the table out start messing with cords trying to fix it and now we're going on probably 10-15 minutes sitting through drive through and I handed the manager my card again and told her sorry but if it doesn't run through on the first try I'm sorry I gotta go somewhere else and she tries it and it fails.
Well before giving me my card back after telling the manager I was done and leaving she tried to swipe my card again hiding the action from me as if she didn't care I just told her run it once and im done I'm not interested in cold food because their equipment is failing.
It's very dissapointing to see a manager try to be sneaky and swipe my card after I already told her I was done and quite honestly makes me wonder the quality and trust worthiness of this location...
Now keeping in mind I had mentioned 3 times prior to her trying to force my card through her machine that I was just ready to have my card back and leave and they could work this situation out on their own time as I had a angry hungry toddler in the backseat not exactly being patient.
I was extremely disappointed to see the manager take it upon herself to keep trying transactions against my card even after asking...

Called to let them know ( bc we didn't find out until we got back to the hotel and kids were swimming for the pool movie) informed them the movie wouldn't be over until later. The Male shift supervisor said, "You either bring all the food back now or you get what you get." There is no option to fix it at any other time. there is no apology, nothing. I no longer felt comfortable going back to the location, for what I would do or what he would do in that situation. I called corporate and informed them, I did not hear back until almost a week later and they offered a coupon for their location (which is 5 hrs away from where I live) I originally asked for a refund and they then said they needed all the food back and it could only be done at the location (mind you, I didn't receive a call or anything until almost a week later. I'm sure the food would have kept, but I'm not carrying it around) They then said they would need to investigate my claim (the claim that the burgers were made incorrectly) and would need my full receipt and they would be watching cameras. I'm not sure if they treat ALL people like they are criminals and want something for nothing, but that is definitely how they treated this situation. I was not asking for anything but a replacement from the get go and my not feeling comfortable to go to the location after being spoken to that way and feeling as if my food would be tampered with I took additional action, which lead to more customer service problems. They are only willing to offer coupons for their location located 5 hrs away and no refund. Horrible business practices across the board. Obviously, management "skills" start from the top and work their way down. Horrible experience across the board. Nuggets were past their hold time, fries were barely full and not fresh, and burgers were made wrong.
