We've visited this place every time we've been to Eureka (3-4 times/year). We ignore the extremely slow service because it's one of the only places will pool tables. A group of us popped in on St. Patrick's day. Our first drink order, we were told they now added a 35% sales tax at the register to liquor. 35%. By the third order, we realized that the price had changed each time we went to the bar, even though everyone ordered the same drinks all night. A well vodka/water and 7&7 was anywhere from $19-$23 depending on which bartender you used and how occupied they were. They said it's a "10 dollar holding fee" after I raised questions. So, when you receive a tab, it will be 10 dollars higher than what it actually is, and it gives you the impression you're supposed to tip on the higher amount. I can't blame them for trying. So, I paid the 56 dollars and let them keep the holding fee as the tip. I decide to keep a watch on my bank account. They ran the tab for the 56 dollars, while I had to wait for the original 46 dollars they charged to fall off.
TL;DR: pay cash as...

We stopped here for after wedding dance and after party. They had live music which was awesome. The staff was exceedingly friendly and helped make this evening a absolute success. Even for me and my cranberry juice straight up no booze order (somebody has to drive, right?) was just...
