Cleanliness? Check! This place was spotless, gleaming like a disco ball at a biker party. I could practically eat off the floors—though that might raise some eyebrows, so I settled for admiring the impeccable cleanliness instead.
Now, the outdoor heated pool was the pièce de résistance. It struck the perfect balance between relaxation and wild aquatic fun. I cannonballed in with such gusto, I could've joined a synchronized swimming team. The water was warm, inviting, and turned me into a biker mermaid (or merman) in no time.
But wait, there's more! The hot tub was a bubbling cauldron of pure delight. It made me feel like a rubber duckie in a blissful bath. Kudos to the maintenance crew for keeping it top-notch—crystal-clear water and bubbles that tickled my toes just right. It was hydrotherapy heaven!
Now, onto the showering saga. Brace yourself for tall shower heads! As someone on the vertically gifted side, I rejoiced like a victorious conqueror. No more face washes from shower heads meant for the shorter folks. Finally, I could revel in a glorious waterfall from above, feeling like a shower-dominating giant!
And the cherry on top? Instant hot water magic! No more shivering and praying for warmth. The moment that shower knob turned, scalding hot water cascaded down like a tea kettle at warp speed. Instant gratification became my shower companion, thanks to Osage Creek Lodge.
So, fellow adventurers, if you crave cleanliness, poolside perfection, and showers that cater to all heights, Osage Creek Lodge is your destination. It's a haven of laughter, relaxation, and delightful surprises. Book your stay, unleash your inner biker mermaid (or merman), and prepare for a getaway filled with memories, laughter, and shower revelations. Happy...
Read moreWalkable to downtown Eureka Springs. Quiet enough to avoid the noise of the street traffic. AC works great. Showers were some of the best I have ever experienced in a hotel. The queen beds were very VERY comfortable, and I rarely can get comfortable in a hotel bed. We stayed in a "pet room," whatever that is, and it smelled clean, and our dog would notice if past dogs had peed. She doesn't, but starts sniffing if they have. The pool was closed, bummer, and the gym was in disrepair, but we didn't come to Eureka to work out in the hotel gym. The breakfast was coffee and some muffins. The room had a fridge and microwave in good order. The dispensary in next to the lobby smelled of marijuana buds, which we got used to, and it did draw some people who were vaping around the walkways of the hotel, but they weren't noisy and generally went straight away to their rooms. There was an area for our dog to pee and poop. This experience may mark the end of our Airbnb stays, which have disappointed in the past few times. The envelope to leave a tip for our cleaning staff reflects a common Arkansas answer to low wages paid by employers. Pay your employees a living wage and they won't need tips. A tip is a generosity, not an...
Read moreGreat value! Room was clean, quiet, and a great HQ for our vacation in Eureka Springs.
I really enjoyed the on-site fitness center; although the equipment was relatively minimal (cardio equipment and a 'total gym' type device from probably the 60's or 70's that had a broken piece or two, but was useable to get a little mid-vacation pump and feel like I wasn't being too lazy) it had a small sauna (which I had totally to myself, along with the fitness room since I was there on off-season and working out at night) which was great to unwind in for a half hour.
Only cons are that breakfast is a very minimal affair these days, no hot breakfast. Also there was only one chair in the room, which means if you found yourself trying to eat in the room or spend any amount of time there, you basically have to get crafty with the ottoman and nightstand (as we did) or just sit in bed the whole time. Not a big deal for most people on vacation who won't be in the room much anyway, I just think it would be nice if you rent a room and bed for two if you had two chairs to...
