I typically frequent the location on Harris Street by Winco, but their oven has been broken on my last few visits so I opted to drive a little out of my way and try the location on 4th street. That was a mistake I will not be repeating. I don’t often feel frustrated enough to go online and write a nasty review, but I am feeling downright ripped off. Long story short I ordered my go-to sandwich, a foot long outlaw. I typically like to get just the meat, cheese, onions and peppers toasted separately from the bread because I feel like toasting the bread makes it less tasty. Now, when you get a footlong sandwich toasted from the new menu at every other location I’ve been to, they take two brown little tubs, fill them each with meat and four slices of cheese, and toast them. Today, the rather unkempt and grumpy looking gentleman by the name of Marc filled ONE container with meat, four slices of cheese, took it into the back- I assume microwave it even though the oven seemed to be functioning just fine- and spread that thinly over a footlong piece of Italian herbs and cheese. Essentially, I paid for a footlong but got a 6 inch worth of meat and cheese. At this point I was incredulous enough to at least ask “I’m sorry, I thought the outlaw was supposed to come with double cheese”. This seemed to frustrate Marc, but he obliged to put four more slices of cheese on the sandwich- at no charge. This is when I knew something was up. They were deliberately skimping on ingredients- whether at the behest of management or simply out of laziness I don’t know. What I do know is I didn’t want to cause a scene so I politely paid for my meal and left, but I won’t...
Read moreThis Subway has very inconsistent service, had a great experience last week, but due to the experience today I will be taking my business to a different breakfast sandwich vendor. I walked into the store and said good morning, did not receive a greeting, the girl went to wash her hands, huffing, was loud about rolling our four feet of of paper towels. When I told her I'd like a ham sandwich add egg, (there's more meat on it this way) she said "you mean you want a ham and egg, i said no, just a ham add egg. She then said, in a snotty voice, "how do you know, do you work at Subway" i replied, "No, but i did when i was in school, for about two years". The prices could have changed, and we could have found that out at the register, instead she huffed and said, "fine i dont want to argue with you".
I left and got a $1.99 burrito, instead of a ten dollar sandwich + tip. I always tip a few bucks, because i've worked at Subway and know it can be hard some days, but i wasn't rude, so don't understand the attitude she had. She didn't look clean or put together either. Anyway, when i told my coworkers about the experience, they said they have had the same experience, with the other...
Read moreReally bad service! They started taking my order through Drive-Thru, stopped listening and then told me to wait. Took almost 5 minutes to actually order my food. They cut off my order, so I wasn’t able to actually order everything I wanted. Then sat at the window for 10-15 minutes without any interaction. When they finally handed out my order, there was no sorry for the wait or anything. They just took my money and handed my food. When I got home found out they gave me the wrong cookies, very lucky I don’t have a peanut allergy as they gave me Reese’s Pieces cookies instead of Double Chocolate Chip. They definitely lucked out that I’m allergic with their cookie selection. Overall a horrible experience, won’t be going back there ever and their number is disconnected, so I can’t even call to...
