WinCo Pizza — Restaurant in Eureka

Located in the front of Winco groceries in Eureka, Leonardi's sells pizza by the slice, take and bake, as well as fully baked pizzas. They seem to be using a pre-prepared crust which they purchase in bulk from from somewhere. The crust is less glutinous and chewy than the typical pizza crust-- slightly too pastry-like. Otherwise it tastes much more fresh than one might expect from a pre-prepared crust. There usually isn't much of a selection for the by-the-slice offerings, and they give real estate to churros, which they have baked in the pizza oven rather than deep fried, and which are frankly pretty lousy. Also, why churros? The folks behind this operation are obviously neither passionate about pizza nor terribly bright, but the pizza, however middling in the larger scheme, is good for the price.
