Just tried it here for the first time. Observations: They put a "vegan pesto" on every sandwich, even if it includes meat and cheese, but they don't say why or what's in this pesto. I bought my husband a turkey sandwich and he said it was good. I don't eat meat and I can't have soy, so I would like to understand the point of using something vegan on non-vegan items and also what the ingredients actually are. There's olive oil in the juice. I don't detect it taste-wise, but again, I wonder why that is included. They put something called "vanilla milk" in their "shakes" (really are smoothies). What is that? Is it real milk? Or something plant-based? Again, what is in it? Space is clean and new. Not many people there. There were many employees. They are right next door to Hewn, but offer really mediocre looking muffins and pastries. Here's the part I don't understand, though - none of them are vegan. They have their ingredients listed and they are all normal. Which is fine, but it seems like a contradictory menu, overall.
I would go back for juice but I would need to see nutrition information for everything else. It's also a little pricey and you can't tip on the card. They do have a...

Read moreThis is from feb 11: I walked in at 6.20pm and the girl at the counter told me no hot/cold coffee was available since all machines were down, so i asked for juice. She said juice was also not available because that machine was also broken. Matcha was the only thing left and she said that was also down. I got a cup of water. Not a single apology from her end for the inconvenience either. How is this place called joe and the juice and there's not a single beverage available? If everything was down the store shouldn't have been open...
