I don't recommend anyone shop here for the horrible way the owner or lady in charge treated me yesterday. I WAS DISCRIMINATED because I'm black! I came in to charge my phone and the lady called the police on to have me removed. She wouldn't let me buy anything. She said I CANT AFFORD ANYTHING IN THE STORE then proceeded to the back to get a broom like she wanted to hit me w it so I just went outside to wait for the police who didn't agree w her unprofessional behavior. She made me have an emotional breakdown outside and I ended up crying in a strangers arms(God bless her💞) and it was very traumatizing to meet a Karen by my apt. Trying not to cry writing this reliving it. I even tried to hug her and she acted as if I was a poisonious bug. She had it for me the second she saw me. I'm from Evanston and it hurts my heart to be treated like that in 2023. She asked if I live upstairs I said no because it's irrelevant so she called my landlord and tried to get me evicted which was uncalled for. I'm a nice humanitarian and everyone should be treated equal and when people do wrong they have to be held accountable. She ruined my day...

Leonidas Pastries in Evanston absolutely saved the day over the 4th of July weekend! While most places were closed, they were open and fully stocked with the most beautiful (and delicious) selection of pastries. We were looking for something special for my mother-in-law, who can only eat soft foods, and the staff was incredibly helpful in pointing out treats that would be gentle and enjoyable for her.
We left with a lovely assortment—and every single item was a hit! Soft, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell everything is made with care. The fact that they were open on a holiday weekend and still delivering top-tier service and quality is a testament to how much they care about their customers.
Highly recommend Leonidas for both the sweets and the sweet people who work there. We’ll...

I was also apprehensive about ordering a smoothie because of the possibility of seeds. So, I ordered a peach iced tea instead. I ordered a quiche because I thought it would be soft. When I got the quiche it had a well done harder crust all around the quiche. I tried to eat the inside but there wasn't much I could eat. Madison should have told me there was a harder crust on the quiche. When I mentioned to her that I couldn't eat most of the quiche because of the crust, she just said 'I'm sorry.' She should have told me how it was made before I ordered it. I would have ordered something else. This was my first and...
