Maybe it was just the night we went, maybe it is the owners who only had 3 employees working while the dinning room was every seat taken packed, maybe it was the employees.. who knows. My family went here for supper recently and it was literally 3rd world country refugee camp without electricity or running water disgusting. The floors were caked and nasty, the counters soda counter and the tables were caked and nasty, the dinning room smelled more like garbage than any kind of food, the handles to the buffet were all of them covered in all kinds of sauces and whatever else, the employees had no gloves but definitely had itchy runny noses because they would use their ungloved hands to wipe and then return to the food, the bathrooms may as well have been filled and stuffed outhouses with everyone's everything they'd done in there for at least the entire day left untouched and all over the floors and walls and toilets completely filled and dried urine and feces where people had been going in there all day anyway, and the class of citizen who were there wasn't 'hard up' they were just 'don't care'. It was awful. There is no excuse on our society for what my family encountered there, none. We had already paid, tolerated it through getting a plate but finally just left our untouched food on the table and left. We didn't eat anything and took our children to the car and cleaned them up to go somewhere else. As we left I asked for the manager to comment on the condition of the place, but after I found out it was a teenager maybe low 20's or younger, on duty as management that night, the same one who wasn't wearing gloves and was wiping their nose, I just walked out. We will never go back to this ridiculous store again. I'm not even going to proof read my post here....
Read moreLily was cashier she smiled when I walked in and was such a sweet lady. When I asked about senior discount She said she hated to ask if I was old enough for senior discount she said I didn't look that old when i told her yes I'm 57. But she gave me the meal for $3.99 buffet. I believe it is a internet coupon. I told her thank you very much. That at regular price I was short by 50cents. Pizzas all looked good. I got small Salad with banana peppers and pickles. Of course banana peppers were for pizza. I got a few thick breaded pizzas slices. And a bowl of extra sauce. Only problem is I couldn't eat all of it. I have to take most bread off pizzas due to gastric bypass and can't have that much bread. But I could bearly eat one piece even with added toppings from other slices. Just wish my stomach was as big as my eyes.. the tables were clean and when I asked Lily told me where the knives were . I don't eat out much when I go to Evansville Indiana but every now & again. Other employees that I had contact with were nice and smiling. Thank you Lily for allowing me to enjoy some good...
Read moreI usually do not leave reviews for chain restaurants as I prefer to support local places to dine however today I ran in to Cici’s for a quick lunch. I’d heard good things recently about the Evansville location and I had not been in years. Let me just say that that was one of the best $5 lunch investments I have ever made and I will be back for sure. Everything was super fresh. Love the salad bar and all of the food was well stocked and ready with a replacement when it ran out. I could definitely see that this store has fantastic management, they were very hands on, helpful to their staff, they said please and thank you to their workers as well as created every single customer. I was blown away because you don’t get service like that anywhere anymore. From a customers perspective that management team seems to be doing a wonderful job and I love when a manager puts them self in the shoes of an employee and treats them right. The food was also amazing but that really caught my eye today and it compelled...
