Happy Gong Cha has opened here. Franchise, but nice to have something other than the Mr Wishes and Kung fu teas around. There's one in the Cherry Hill Mall too, but happy this one's more local.
Like all stand alone bubble tea shops, you can customize ice and sweetness for most drinks. And like most standalone shops, bubbles here are nice and chewy, unlike ones at asian restaurants which may be hit or miss since their turnover rates on drinks is lower than their food.
Like most chains, pretty sweet, so recommend taking sugar down a notch when you order.
Not sure what's my go-to yet, typically just go with a seasonal new item. Sucker for trying new things.
Mini boba drinks are really good. Packed with toppings, very smooth.

Peach green tea with aiyu jelly is really sweet at 30% sweetness. I watered it down into 2 cups and it was still sweet. Maybe it's the aiyu jelly? The aiyu is a bit thicker and well formed compared to Mr wishes.
