Ramen Review: A Flavorful Journey in Every Slurp
I recently had the pleasure of indulging in a steaming bowl of ramen at chicken town, and it was nothing short of spectacular.
The Broth: The rich, savory broth was the star of the show. It had the perfect balance of depth and complexity, with a hint of umami that lingered on the palate. The korean army ramen broth was creamy yet light, while the spicy-infused variant was savory without being overwhelming. Both options were packed with layers of flavor, achieved through hours of slow simmering that you could taste with every sip.
The Noodles: The noodles were just the right texture—springy with a delicate chew that complemented the broth beautifully. They had a satisfying bite, and their long strands swirled perfectly in the soup, absorbing the flavor without becoming soggy. Whether you prefer a slurp-worthy noodle or a more substantial bite, these noodles delivered. Toppings: This ramen didn’t skimp on toppings. The tender spam and sausage was perfectly marbled and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, adding a hearty richness to each bite. The soft-boiled egg, with its creamy yolk, was a perfect contrast to the savory broth, while the green onions provided a refreshing crunch.
Overall Experience: Every ingredient in this bowl of ramen felt carefully selected and crafted to work in harmony. It was an experience that was both comforting and exciting, familiar yet full of surprises. The combination of textures, the balance of salty and savory, and the warming qualities of the broth made this bowl a standout. Whether you’re a ramen aficionado or just craving something delicious, this dish will leave you satisfied and craving more.
Highly recommended for anyone who’s looking to experience true...

It's bland. The bowls are still good, but I'm not as in love with this place as I once was. Please consider changing the recipe back. (End of edit)
I love this place so much that I think I have a problem. I dined in once a while back with my boyfriend, and we were both pleasantly surprised to find how nice it was on the inside! We were the only diners there, and the server was great and so friendly. My normal method of getting Chicken Town is through Door Dash because I always crave it when I'm working from home. My main go to is the golden fried wings, and I always get an extra side of rice because they give you one little scoop. Not a big deal for me though, but I would love to see a larger serving of rice in the future (and maybe a little more sauce) 🥰 The wings have never failed me in the flavor town department, and I love eating it was the yummy sauce they give you! My boyfriend gets the bowls, and those are really good, too! I haven't had a negative experience with them so far, and I've been getting their food for about 4 months. I would add pictures, but to be honest, whenever it shows up at my door I dig in so fast because I'm foaming at the mouth. Thank you,...
Read more2023: Contrary to appearances, this is a Korean food place! Was really hoping to get some cheese wings and soju. Although they had neither, I tried their beef ramen, a few of the fried chichens, katsu burger, japchae, and sweet rice doughnuts. The ramen noodles were excellent, but the broth and additions left something to be desired. The fried chicken was good, as was the katsu and japchae. The sweet rice doughnuts were delicious! Definitely try those.
Update 2025: I've been back a few times and wanted to update this review. Ramen is Japanese. This is a Korean restaurant. That being said, stick with the Korean foods on the menu and you will be very happy. Budae jjigae and ttoek kkochi are excellent here. I still strongly recommend the sweet rice doughnuts and the...
