I hesitated to write this because I don’t want this to deter anyone from trying sipping streams, it’s a great local business. I just happened to have a somewhat negative experience, and I’m only writing this because I noticed the owners seem to check reviews frequently and it’s an issue that can be easily be fixed. I’m a vegetarian, and while I’m not like out of commission or anything if I eat meat, it does hurt my stomach and it’s not fun. With that being said, I ordered the veggie bun and ended up getting the chicken bun instead. It took me a couple of bites to realize that it was chicken, and when I brought it up to the front they quickly apologized and asked me if I wanted the bun I ordered. I told them yes, and they brought it out. It wasn’t very good, it was pretty plain and disappointing. The two bites I had of the chicken bun was good though!

I’m not writing because I think the workers suck and did this intentionally; I know it was an accident. They’re all young and honestly had great customer service when I first came in, but as a business that serves food it’s important that people’s dietary needs aren’t overlooked. Like I said, I’m not on my deathbed. I just went home with a stomachache. But, it could be a much bigger issue for those with more extreme food allergies. So please just make sure people are getting what they ordered and also maybe put a little more flavor into the...

Amazing tea cafe for tea-lovers out there who are seeking to experience a variety of tea selection!!!

Outstanding service and tasty food! I came in several days ago, specifically looking for milk tea with boba. I ended up trying their other kind of tea, pork bun, and congee.

I love the congee so much! The beef meatballs are the perfect meatball that reminds me of Pho meatball, very tasty! The ingredients included in the congee are very exquisite. The entire bowl of it took me out of the cold of Fairbanks, reminding me of home. The pork bun was exceptional! Very fresh and juicy on every bites! Coming from Washington not expecting much from a tea shop but the food complements the beverage very well. The coconut tea was striking, cold and refreshing, yet delicate in each sip of its perfection! If there is one thing that needs improvement, it would be the bubble topping, which was rather hard to chew in my opinion.

Jenny and Bryan were super friendly and nice! As someone new to Fairbanks, they informed me about what to do, communities, events, and what to be mindful of in Fairbanks, like the snow, how to winterize my vehicle, and even their upcoming Anime event!

I am definitely coming back very often in the...

I was first introduced to Sipping Streams by a group of friends who wanted to have a tea party. I thought it was a silly but cute idea and went along for the ride. We showed up to fancy tables set with perfect tea cups, tea pots, and platters of cute tea sandwiches and scones and DELICIOUS fruit. There was sugar and cream for the tea & jams and whipped cream for the goodies. We were so impressed and the experience was beyond what I had expected. I have been coming back ever since. Their tea is a little pricey, but it is such great quality. Plus, the jasmine green tea pearls I purchased from here can be used up to three times. So I made a cup, drink it up, and then add more hot water - the taste is just as great and strong as the first batch. I have also had their Silky Sweet Matcha Green Tea - and YUM. I actually came back and bought the sweet matcha green tea powder I loved it so much. There are pastries, salads, soups, sandwiches, and all sorts of tea accessories. Every employee I've seen has been so helpful and kind. I will keep coming back again and again. Thank you...

Went in today to try their bubble waffle and I was very disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I love their tea and we love getting their chicken buns, but when we ordered their bubble waffle, I was baffled as to what I was given. The only tasty thing about it was the ice cream I guess. We ordered the Strawberries and Cream and the picture and description they advertise was not really what I got. For one, the waffle was so burnt, there were no strawberries ( I even went back to the cashier and questioned if there was supposed to be strawberries in it like what it says and she said it's just like that, just syrup and there was barely even any strawberry syrup). There was ice cream and chocolate syrup but i tasted more of the burnt waffle then the other things in it. I think they should change their description and picture to match it next time. I'll just stick to their tea and chicken bun next time I guess.

I was happy to find a very nice tea place in my home town Fairbanks Alaska, and spent hundreds of dollars here. After a few months I decided to invest $70 in the big thermos with the logo just because I was very pleased with the tea. First time using it I discovered itd leak because it was missing a rubber piece that comes in the top. When i bought the product, the nice cashier said I could come back if I had any problems and exchange or return it. Went back the next day and the owner was working at the front, she said she cant exchange or process a return. Great. I ask to buy the rubber piece separately but instead she has me email the company that she bought the thermos from and forward it to her. Never heard back from the company or her, it's been 9 months, complete waste of money and sad customer service experience. Not wasting my time or money here again.
