GOOD Cannabis — Local services in Fairbanks

So, for a very long time I avoided cannabis due to my employment. However, because of said employment, I developed PTSD, Migraines and depression. Now, many years later, I live in a place where I can legally buy and consume weed. I am new to this experience entirely, but taking baby doses in the evening is the equivalent of my preferred gin and tonic level of intoxication: just enough to pink my cheeks and loosen up my muscles, not enough to impair my ability to function in case of emergencies, or parent children effectively.

I mention the above in order to let you know my experience with the product sold. Which is basically none. The lovely people at this location held my hand and walked me through everything politely and kindly. The store is clean and lovely, the music is always awesome, and the variety of product has been amazing despite pandemic circumstances.

The products I've tried include a few pre-rolls. A bunch of their cookies and brownies, and my personal favorites: the infused drinks. I love love love Fire-eater brand sodas, almost all the flavors available. They have it in stock, and just a gulp of that product is the perfect amount to take the edge off pandemic parenting. Service is always fast and kind and personable, and every person I've spoken to in the store was knowledgeable and kind (for my level of experience). Haven't been steered wrong once. I really appreciate how the prices are simple, and am only bummed I have to pull out cash at the ATM prior to sale. Hopefully the legislation on who can use debit cards will change soon. But they conveniently have an ATM in store, so this works out splendidly.

A note on the lights: if you, like me, suffer from migraine, I'm happy to announce that the lighting here is bright enough to see, but dark enough to not be a florescent hell scape of light induced migraine triggers! The smells are pleasant, but definitely had a weed smell underneath.

All in all, a great experience so far and I've been coming once every few weeks for over a year in a half. I hope this level of quality continues and they don't expand too fast like a lot of shops I've seen selling similar product in...

GOOD Cannabis is one of the best places in all of AK to shop for cannabis and cannabis related products! From the overall cleanliness of the store (COVID-19 who?) to the killer interior design and the friendly staff, GOOD reigns supreme amongst recreational cannabis dispensaries in my book. Oh, and did I mention? They have amazing flower, concentrates, and edibles, all in a wide variety of brands and flavors, but I gotta say; their selection of in-house products is held at such a high standard for quality, it's fantastic. They have the most amazing looking flower I have purchased from any storefront so far and I'm huge into photographing cannabis flower so that is a giant plus for me. I can't recommend GOOD Cannabis highly enough to any cannabis connoisseur, and if you are a casual smoker they're great for you too! If all that isn't enough, the crazy flash deals GOOD texts out to loyalty members once in a while is one of the things that really sets GOOD apart from the rest. I moved here in May and have been going here since getting here. I keep coming back because the employees are super friendly. The prices are on the higher side and the pedros gold carts gets clogged very easily. I havent really had an issue but I did pick up product recently and I noticed a few off things. The percentages on the website and the percentages on the boxes were different. The percentages for thc on the website were higher then actually on the label on the box. Also on the label the sativas were labeled hybrids. So just remember to double check everything especially if you order on the website. I did call to let them know that their thc percentage on the website is higher then their label on the box, and they offered to let me exchange the carts so that was nice. unfortunately i cant make it back for another week so it didnt workout for me.
