I stopped in here for lunch while my laundry was running in the hotel in staying in next door. It's a small but inviting place with a lot of dessert options available on display when you walk in. The main attraction on their shelves was the fudge that they draw their name from. But this is also a coffee cafe, eatery and a small gift shop. I browsed through the store briefly while the customers ahead of me made their order. For my lunch I had the soup of the day - salmon chowder. I also had their fuzzy moose latte, which was flavored with mocha, caramel and almond if I recall correctly. Both were very good! I cleaned up the last bits of the chowder with two triangle slices of homemade sourdough bread that I had ordered extra. I enjoyed being able to look out the window while I dined here. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant lunch or a great coffee. I did not try any of the desserts they are known for.

Our tour group brought us here and I was worried it was going to be a long and hectic wait due to us all descending at once. The small staff did a great job accommodating all of us! We got a turkey provolone sandwich, salmon chowder, double espresso frozen drink, and a piece of chocolate peanut butter fudge. The turkey sandwich was a typical deli type sandwich. Nothing unique, but dependable and yummy. Plenty of turkey and fillings. Bread was soft but not soggy. Chowder was good! On the lighter side, but flavorful and filling. Decent sized chunks of salmon. Espresso drink was not too sweet, so good if you'd rather taste the coffee. The fudge was delicious! We had other fudge on the trip that was way too sweet, but this was well balanced and very creamy. Just the right hint of saltines from the peanut butter. It was good enough that I went back in to get more for the family back home.

Strolling downtown Fairbanks, and I had to stop here. Fudge is one of my favorite desserts, and the selection here was amazing! Combinations and flavors of fudge I'd never seen or tasted before. They allow you to sample, and there are tons of options- not only fudge, but several other things chocolate. I couldn't decide on one, so I grabbed a box with a few different flavors. This place is a MUST, when just strolling around downtown!

The food here was good and the fudge was delicious. But we had a service issue which was handled poorly. We ordered the soup of the day, a side salad, and a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch. The person didn’t charge me for the soup initially, but I reminded them to add it to the bill. The soup and salad were delivered promptly. But the grilled cheese was not. We asked about it and eventually a server came over and explained that another table answered to our name (Rivers), and took our sandwich. So they re-made it and brought it out and apologized. Fast forward to the end of the meal. I was still hungry, so I decided to make a second order. I got an oat milk hot chocolate and vanilla caramel black sea salt fudge. The person didn’t charge me for the oat milk so I reminded them to add it to the bill. The server who dropped off the sandwich was walking by and told the person at the register to charge me for a grilled cheese sandwich. I explained I already paid and showed them the receipt. The server walked me over to the table who accepted our sandwich originally and she said, this person took your sandwich, and you should pay for it. I was so offended. The family sitting there got involved and agreed to pay for the sandwich but the server never apologized to me. So offensive to accuse me of stealing, after I reminded them to charge me for everything I consumed. What a terrible customer service experience. Server was an older woman with blonde, curly hair and a ponytail. Ruined my whole...
