Do not eat here! When we arrived I almost immediately wanted to leave on account of the fact that there was no air conditioning or perhaps they weren't using it. It was even hotter than it was outside and it was very hot outside. Everyone was seated on one side of the restaurant because the server said she could not guarantee that we wouldn't get neglected on the other side. The menu was definitely not what I remembered because she said she was using a short menu because they were short on cooks. We ordered sodas because the beer beer that my friend requested they were out of. Then came the food. I was hoping to get their hamburger because they used to have a very good hamburger but we had to settle on two enchilada specials and I decided to get the nachos. I was told by the other two in our party that the rice was inedible and tasted like it could have come off the floor! When one of them asked for more ice in her soda she was informed that they were short on ice and she couldn't spare to give us any more ice. As for my nachos I got the chicken nachos and searched through so many layers looking for the chicken. Finally it was located at the very bottom of the nachos. It was so disgusting that I left nearly the whole nacho plate over and if you ask anyone who knows me that is unheard of for me to do. I will frequently eat my own portion and then eat whatever somebody would have left over. On top of it my first instincts of I should have leaved came to a nasty climax as I got sick at 4:00 in the morning and had to run to the bathroom! This restaurant gets an f - for service, atmosphere and most especially the food! None of us will ever go back. I would...

This restaurant was such a disappointment. We are not picky eaters and don't have a super high standard or anything. We were sat down at 6 PM and our order was taken almost immediately. We waited 35 minutes for our entrées to come out. One chicken quesadilla, one ground beef quesadilla, and one order of ground beef flautas. The quesadillas were $17 each which was ridiculous and the beef flautas were $19. I've never paid that much for a quesadilla with literally only chicken and cheese on it. No side dishes, not even lettuce. Came with six side sauces which were average. We were given chips and salsa when we sat down and while the chips were crispy, you can tell that the oil was too hot as they were very brown. My son's flautas were also very brown on the outside but still had raw dough on the inside, which again indicated that the oil was too hot. He is a teenage boy who can put away a large amount of food but he refused to finish it because it just was not appetizing. We brought this to the attention of our waitress who said she would speak with the chef but we were still charged full price for it. I can't remember if she even apologized and neither the chef nor the manager came over to apologize or even say anything. We had researched this restaurant a few months ago before coming to Alaska from the East Coast, but the reviews and the pictures of the menu were completely different than what we got today so not sure if it switched owners or what. We left today very...

Where do I begin....I went into this restaurant and settled on the Buffet, well EVERYTHING was cold or room temperature at best. Not ONE THING tasted fresh, it tasted like it had been sitting there a good while. I explained this to the MANAGER on duty Friday June 7th at 6:30PM.

I inquired if I could just order the kids chicken tenders meal, he said sure. 30 minutes later out comes the chicken tender meal, nice, hot and fresh but more like the Adult Chicken Tender Meal. I said I ordered the Kids Chicken Tender Meal, he said I told them to spruce it up a bit for you, I said wow, no need to, but thank you.

I get my Bill and not only did he STILL charge me for that nasty Buffett, but he also charged me THE ADULT PRICE for the kids meal I ordered. When I questioned my bill on why he charged me for the Adult meal he proceeded to take back my plate of Chicken Tenders as I’m eating and have already eaten one full tender, to remove enough Food to make it a kids meal AGAIN, REALLY!!!!

So unprofessional, rude and very very distasteful!! So what is he going to do serve those TAINTED Chicken Tenders to another unsuspecting diner, and you call yourself a MANAGER?

I wish I would have gotten his name as he was NOT wearing a name tag. I will NEVER come back or recommend this Restaurant to ANYONE, ALL TOURIST...

We came here 8/22/22 after a cruise. We had just taken a bus from our hotel in Denali and we were dropped off at the Westmark Hotel in Fairbanks at 6pm. We wanted to see Fairbanks!!! We took a little foot tour around town and we stumbled in the door not knowing anything about the area other than we really liked the ALASKA mural on the side of the building. We are super glad we came here!!! Our waiter, Vejan, was very polite and fast, efficient and friendly. He took total ownership of being poorly staffed. Did not complain. In fact I said something about being low staffed and he smiled and said "I got this". The meal....best Mexican and best flavor in a long time. We seek out Mexican wherever we go. We'll remember this place for a while and in fact still talk about it now that we are home in WV USA. Hopefully we can go back someday!!

Excellent hole in the wall with an informal ambiance. If you’re looking for a gem to just sit down and get some good Mexican comfort food, look no further! We were visiting over Christmas and New Years and choose this place on multiple occasions. The fajitas are generous servings, perfectly seared and all ingredients are crunchy and fresh. My husband had the Pozole soup which was rich and full of both flavour and ingredients. Our warmest compliments to the chef who knows how to balance heat, texture and flavour! The constant server/bartender Dejan (who seems to work all the time 😁) is always friendly no matter how much there is to do. He made sure to keep us informed if any dish was going to be delayed and was overall very service minded and professional.
