We came here last night to celebrate my friend's birthday. It was 11 of us, and we are a bunch of 21 and almost 22-year-olds. The second we entered the restaurant to be seated, we were greeted very rudely and asked immediately "Is everyone 21?" and we said yes. We were not asked if we wanted appetizers, water, or anything for forty minutes after being seated. Mind you, the restaurant was empty as it was 8 pm on a Sunday night so there was no excuse for the horrible service. Then, a male server comes and asks all of us for our IDS and only five gave their IDS since some of us drove and did not plan on drinking. A woman who is supposedly the interim manager named "Meg" came back with our IDs in a very rude and unprofessional manner and claimed that multiple IDs were fake but would not specify which ones. Most of my friends are from New York and if the restaurant was educated on IDs, they would know that in New York State you can pay extra for an enhanced license that you can fly with, which will look slightly different than an older license since it would have the black star on the corner. She claims that they are fake because they were also issued around the same time and looked different but the girls that gave their IDs were born in 2001, some at the beginning of the year (February) and some towards the end (September), and again, if she was educated she would also know that New York State changed their license multiple times in one year and depending on the type of license you pay for, there will be some differences. We asked her to put them in a black box which she claims she did but that is a lie because if she did she would see that they are real. Additionally, she claimed that Geronimo has a rule that if one person at a table is not drinking then no one can drink, which is complete BS. If a parent came to eat dinner with their children, can they not have a drink because their children are not drinking? We got up and gave our business to a different restaurant, and it's safe to say Geronimo lost $500-600 of service that night. Meg the interim manager should be fired. To add to her unprofessionalism, Meg went in one of our friend's faces who politely approached her to understand the situation, and Meg began threatening her and screaming at her. Meg the "manager" also stated that she did not plan on serving us food. You would think there's more to the story but we are literally a group of polite seniors in college that wanted to celebrate a birthday at dinner on a...

Weâve been loyal to this restaurant for years. I never imagined Iâd leave so upset Iâd feel compelled to write this. Tonight, I brought my family of four to celebrate Motherâs Day. We arrived at 7 PM, hoping for a pleasant evening and at least decent service. No hello. No âHappy Motherâs Day.â No effort to make us feel welcomeânot from the host, not from the server, and not even from the manager up front. Our server looked visibly overwhelmed from the moment she walked up. She never introduced herself, barely made eye contact, and didnât even pretend to want to be there. We asked for a basic modification to a dish to avoid an allergic reaction. .it was ignored. We tried to be understanding. We gave her grace. But that grace was never returned. She didnât check on us. She didnât come back after we finished our meals. Ironically, the only person with a hint of professionalism or warmth was the food runner, who spoke more kindly to us in passing than our server did throughout the entire meal. Give that man a raise! After the meal, we waited⊠and waited⊠until we had to flag down someone else (possibly a manager) just to locate our server. By then, we were too disappointed to order dessert.. something we always look forward to so we simply asked for the check. Then came the final insult: the check was placed on a completely different table. Not handed to us. Not even placed on our table. Just dropped off like we werenât worth the extra few steps it wouldâve taken to show basic human decency. This happened twice. That level of disregard isnât âbeing busy.â Itâs flat out disrespect. We were never rude. We were patient, understanding, even sympathetic to what looked like an understaffed night. But let me be clear: your serverâs bad day is not our burden to carry. Your job is to create a welcoming experience. Thatâs hospitality. Thatâs the business you chose. If your staff is too overwhelmed to deliver even basic courtesy, thatâs your failure not the guests!
If Geronimos still wants to carry a name rooted in power and pride, it should start by respecting the people who walk through its doors. No guest on Motherâs Day or any day deserves to feel like theyâre bothering the staff just by sitting down.
Youâve lost our trust, our respect, and our business. Fix your staff. Fix...
Read moreDamn everything about this place was fantastic. Great looking place with outdoor seating and an outdoor bar just that alone is really cool. The inside bar looks amazing as well and the liquor selection is impressive. Our server was Dave and I am very pleased he served us and made my drinks. He was very kind, attentive, polite, and he was really funny. Additionally his table side guacamole exceeded my expectations. I started with a tropicale margarita that tastes like you're on vacation and it looked beautiful and tasted even better; had something coconut in it and it was very delightful. this drink was made with pineapple infused tequila, toasted coconut, agave, lime, and smoked black Hawaiian sea salt. I also had a spicy lowrider margarita that was very good and wasn't too spicy. This drink was made with Olmeca altos blanco tequila, acid adjusted pineapple, guajillo, and chimayo salt. I finished with wake the dead and damn for a coffee drink it was dare I say the best I ever had. It was like an expresso martini x's 10 it tasted a lot stronger coffee wise and I'm sure this will wake you up. Wake the dead cocktail is la gritona reposado tequila, kimbo expresso, and vanilla. Finally for the food we ordered the jalapeno popper, birria flauta, and a chicken quesadilla. The jalapeno popper was very satisfying and hit the spot, the texture was great and the flavor was awesome. The birria flauta was incredible, the consome it came with was insane and the quesadilla was great as well. It came with some orange sauce that I devoured because it was really tasty. Overall everything here was absolutely amazing and what made this place even better or 5 stars was Dave he was just so friendly and nice. This is the type of person that will make me want to come back to a place because they are so awesome, I hope the owner here recognizes how much of an asset he is to this restaurant. I was fortunate enough to be in the area and check this place out. The only issue I had was I don't live nearby because if I did I would definitely be a regular here. If you haven't checked this place out you are missing out; do yourself a favor and come here, don't forget to bring...
