My boyfriend and I go to this Jersey Mike's all the time. The girl behind the counter with the red hair and glasses recognized us immediately and greeted us. She is always great when we go in there. The employees are awesome in general and the food is always really good. But tonight I was especially impressed with the service. My boyfriend and I got there and there was one customer in line. She was taking forever to order and was asking the same questions over and over again. She finally placed her order and decided she wasn't done and needed to order more. So the song and dance started all over again. The whole while, my boyfriend and I are patiently waiting to be helped, the girl taking the customer's order was very patient and very professional and helpful despite the obnoxious nature of this particular customer. It seemed like this woman was being difficult on purpose. So the girl working finished taking her order, she repeated it back to her twice and proceeded to get our order. Another girl with dark hair was ringing the woman up while a guy was in back working on her order and the red haired girl who took the orders was working on my and my boyfriend's order. So while we were all waiting for our orders, the woman starts asking what she ordered again and was insisting she ordered something she hadn't. She was leaning over the counter as the red haired girl was showing her the ticket explaining to her what she got and this woman just wasn't getting it..at this point I could have told her what she ordered as it had been verbally confirmed with her 3 times already and this was the 4th. But the employees never showed any sign of annoyance or impatience. I was really impressed with how they handled her. I believe the two girls' names were Elysia and Ashlyn but I could be wrong. One had dark hair the other had red and they both wore glasses. And the guy making the sandwiches in back had dark hair with a goatee or some facial hair. I hope they get some recognition and praise for their service! Especially the red haired girl (Ashlyn?) as she was the one mostly dealing with the woman. Read morewe were traveling thru and stopped at jungle jims to shop. husband & i were real hungry so thought as a convenience we could grab a sub at this place & eat it in our vehicle. i thought the grilled chicken with grilled peppers & onions and melted american cheese sounded good so we just ordered a large 14 inch sub. the preparer asked us if we wanted lettuce, pickles, and a couple of other items plus mayo and we said sure. when we got it unwrapped in our vehicle yes it was real big cut into 4 pieces but it was a real mess. thank god i had some paper plates because it was hard to handle and our hands got real messy trying to eat it. we were real disappointed as i think it said grilled chicken so we thought we were going to get like strips or slices of grilled chicken with lots of grilled peppers &onions. instead the whole sub was just small bits of chicken which did not taste grilled. also we couldn't find any grilled peppers or onions on it. the sandwich was a real nasty mess and it wasn't enjoyable to eat it and it really didn't taste very good despite it being a real large sandwich. we were sorry we chose that off the menu. we would not eat at a jersey mike's again based on our experience. i can't understand how this sub place gets the higher ratings it does. if it was located where i live in the US i doubt they would stay...
Read moreThis was the absolute worst experience I ever had at Jersey Mike's. On May 17th I placed an order via the mobile app. My order was missing items as well as my sanwich was incorrect. I called and spoke with Chance, evening manager, who initially credited me two free meals at any size. He specifically stated we could upgrade to any size we wanted when we returned at no charge. He also refunded our money, after I called back to report the sanwich was incorrect. On May 18th when we returned to get our two credited meals in the giant size as Chance promised, Angela Trunesser who stated she was the operation manager, denied him ever saying we could upgrade and wouldn't give us our meals. She consequently called me a liar and proceeded to say she was next to Chance and provided him instruction to give a refund only. However, if that were true she would've heard him clearly say we could get any size at no charge. This was super frustrating experience! The integrity of the location is completely horrible! Customer service even worst especially coming from a supposed Operation Manager. The quality of people put in management positions is definitely scaling down.
