Recently I decided to give Nation's another chance and try something other than their cheesecake which is always delicious. So I tried the sweet potato tart and a slice of pumpkin pie. Well evidently Nation's has hired a new pie chef or the one they have finally learned how to bake pies. Both were absolutely DELECTABLE. I could not believe they were as good as my grandmother used to make when I was growing up. Their pies used to be terrible and I had not bought one in years. They are finally living up to the bragging they do on their pies. The sweet potato tarts and pumpkin pies are truly worthy of being entered in 'best pie' contests and I think they would win 1st prize. They are now worth the money and I would recommend anyone that likes sweet potato and pumpkin pies to give Nation's a try. I don't think they'll be disappointed. I sure wasn't. I just put mine in the microwave for 30 seconds to warm them up just a little. They have just the right balance of sweetness and sweet potato and pumpkin flavor. To die for! You will want more! Please keep whoever you have making pies at this store employed. They know how to...
Read moreOn 10-29 when I ordered my breakfast, I asked the cashier ( Jesse) for the breakfast that they have on display with scrabble eggs, and pancakes. For some reason the cashier took my order wrong. When I received my order I realized that she didn’t get my pancakes, so I told her she got upset and told me that when She asked me what kind of toast I wanted, I have to tell her that I want pancakes.
I told her that I didn’t know, and that I told her since the beginning what I wanted. Then the manager Bernice came and said that it was my mistake not theirs.
Both of them were attacking me saying that I have to know how to order.
At the end Bernice made my order. When I asked for my receipt back Bernice told me that she didn’t know what happened to it, and left me there. Then Bernice started saying that who do I think I was, that she doesn’t have time for tantrums. She said it in Spanish thinking that I don’t understand.
Awful experience, I asked for my money back, never coming back to this place. I prefer to drive next town, because I love Nation’s, but I don’t deserve this kind...
Read moreArrived at 7am & the cook stared at me while the doors were locked cooking breakfast for her two children. A Employee arrived late then continued to open the register. The cook opened the door after me standing outside nearly 10 minutes. They both had a confusing look. The lady at the register wasn't in a great mood. The kids food looked delicious. My food was horrible. My fries wasn't cooked my chili was so cold my cheese didn't melt. My bacon cheeseburger just didn't have that it's from Nations vibe. $23 down the drain. It felt like I was an unwanted guest and I was in their kitchen not Nations kitchen. I used to work at Nations in San Pablo. I was on my way home from work and should have just stopped at that one. I will never go back here. Nations need to go back to hiring diverse cultures. Shouldn't just be one ethnic group working there....
