PJ's Coffee is a gem of a café in Fairfield, and I cannot help but give it a glowing 5-star review, thanks to the exceptional service provided by one of the baristas, who I later found out is named Skylar. Her presence at the counter brings a ray of sunshine into my morning routine. It's amazing how she remembers my order (as well as other customers’ orders) without skipping a beat—a refreshing iced vanilla latte and a delightful beignet—and always greets me with a warm smile. Not only does she excel in making me feel valued, but she also effortlessly manages the café's operations, from taking orders to crafting delicious drinks to ensuring the café remains pristine and inviting. As a frequent customer, it was disheartening when I didn't see her for a while. It seems like she hasn’t been getting scheduled much lately, which is a shame because the store seems to be at its best with her working.
Skylar's leadership qualities shine through as she sets a stellar example for her fellow workers. It's evident that she is well-respected amongst her co-workers. Despite being busy, she maintains a genuine and personable demeanor, making every customer interaction feel special. Whether it's recommending new drink options (today she recommended new syrups and the frozen coffee drink) or providing helpful suggestions, Skylar's expertise is unmatched. Her dedication to creating a welcoming environment is palpable, and her commitment to delivering exceptional customer service is truly commendable.
PJ's Coffee stands out among other cafés in the area, including the newly opened Starbucks locations. The combination of Skylar's exceptional service, the high-quality coffee, and the delicious food make this café a cut above the rest. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, I can't recommend PJ's Coffee enough. I look forward to many more visits to enjoy their fantastic lattes...
Read moreIf I can give zero star I would’ve. Customers be ready to get the worst customer experience in your life. I noticed the coffee shop in my way out of the gym, and I was so excited to try it We order cold brew and caramel macchiato for myself . The cold brew was fine, but the macchiato The milk was cold as it was not steamed well, and it was No froth and it tasted as it was left outside or expired. I walked back to the store and I told the lady at the cashier that the drink does not taste good and the milk was bad or something I asked her if she could please remake it or if she could check the milk or the syrup.the lady at the cash register was extremely rude. ( teen age or she was acting like it) at the cashier said we have to pay for every drink we make, and she demand me to pay for another drink. I tried to explain to her what she gave me it’s not drinkable. She was not willing to offer any option, unless if it was paid for. I left the macchiato drink on the counter, and I walked away. It’s such a shame that the owner spend so much money and effort and open a coffee shop. But make the worst mistake of hiring the worst stuff. I could’ve been a regular customer as a go to the gym next door and get coffee after the gym every day. but I will be getting my coffee elsewhere because I will not step foot on the...
Read moreToday was my first time visiting PJ's Coffee. I live in the area and watched as the coffee house was being built. I gave it a few months to get acclimated before taking a visit. Well, it's a HARD NO for me. I'm all about the customer experience and this was a zero. The lack luster customer service by the high school or maybe college student was unwelcoming. The coffee was okay. The beignet's were cooked to order however it was way too much sugar once I opened the bag. Then as the cashier was handing the bag with the beignet's to me, she had powdered sugar all over her hands which I though did she handle my food with her bare hands (gross). I took one small bite when I got home and threw all the rest in the garbage (I didn't want my kids eating) because just to think she handled the food without gloves. Not the coffee but physical food after she handled money do you really think she washed her hands before touching the food......that's a no! All to say, it's was a no for me and I will not be visiting again. Small coffee and 4 beignets was $10.25 or something...
