Nini Squares — Restaurant in Fairhope

Nini Squares is a fantastic addition to the downtown Fairhope restaurant scene—a quick, delicious and affordable lunch spot that’s easy to walk to with plenty of nearby parking, but an even better place for a casual dinner with your family or a big group of friends thanks to a wide range of seating options both indoors and outside, something on the menu for just about everyone, a great selection from the bar and big scrumptious squares of pizza that you can’t get anywhere else! You can have a full belly without a big bill—a lunch under $10 is totally doable, but but because we’re usually there with friends we have a few drinks and try to do our part to support small businesses and keep them in the fabric of our community. Love the family that owns and runs it, the terrific staff, the music and overall vibe. We always can count on Nini Squares for a good, fun meal. Keep coming back for surprising new menu options, and they just started offering takeout boxes...

The food was excellent (both the pizza and salad) but the service, or lack thereof, ruined the experience for us. There were literally four tables occupied. The woman at the front was extremely rude for absolutely no reason. We stood there waiting to be acknowledged by her until finally the cook took our order. When she finally came to the register, she asked what we were having and I told her the cook had already taken our order. She snapped, "well I still have to ring it in." When my boyfriend questioned the total, because we weren't told there was an upcharge for our salad choice, she then got in his face with a condescending attitude. It was really wierd and totally unnecessary. Maybe we will try it again and hope they have gotten rid of...

We noticed the the lady at the front had a very bad attitude when we ate in at Nini Squares. While the food was ok, it is near us so we decided to do a call ahead order. The same woman answered the phone and was extremely abrupt for no reason apparent reason. She was singing songs in my ear while i'm trying to make an order and made me feel like the biggest inconvenience when her job is to take orders and answer the phone. We will never be back at Nini Sqaures. With this kind of customer service they won't be around long either. Plenty of other pizza places in Fairhope with way better customer service!
