as a former worker at five guys i highly recommend to not work at this store. ive had multiple altercations with one of the manager she goes by "abbie rock" and she is so stuck in her ways and does not knows how to manage a store properly without making her crew members feel uncomfortable in the work envirement , i recently reffered a friend to the store and she was willingly accepting to give him a shot as a crew member she even went as far as giving him a interview the bext day "jessica the general manger" and i can tell by the conversation we had she was judging him by a cover , when we already discussed that he was going to come in and do his job , he was just missing his ID so she told him once he gets his ID He Can Start , so 3-5 days later he comes back and it went totally left the energy jessica had on the interview " the gm "totaly had changed and she gave him negative energy in the store front after she told him and me that she would hire once he gets his ID so now at this point my friend explains to me that he was really looking foward to the job and was hoping to work and for her to waist his time after telling him and me that once you recover your ID you can start is just a whole mind game she is playing at this point so i recommened another close friend i knew for 5 years and mind you she just fired a shift manager on top of losing 2 other workers and a shift leader manager qutting aswell so it isnt like the buiness doesnt need workers Because me working there knowing whats going on i can proudly say that i was the best worker there and everyone else was either always calling off and all sorts of things and jessica let it slide do to the amount of leveraged hiree crew members she has working there so with that being said they needed new workers , so back to the other friend i reffered she gave him an interview and they had a wonderful conversation and the interview went well as far as i know , so after that my friend went to the mall because i decied to go back to his home after work he went to the mall for a few hours and came back and stayed for about a hour and waited for me to clock out so we could head to his home and as i was told to sweep the floor i started to do that and he came to the counter while i was still sweeping and we were talking for about 60 sexonds it was about 20 minutes left before i was supposed to clock out and mind you i havent got a break that day so i really could have clocked out 30 minutes prior , but back to what i was saying she calls me to the back and tells me i cant be talking while im on front line when im telling you to do a task and i was just thinking to myself you do know i can multi task "Talk & Sweep " At the same time cuz i was told to take out trash afterwards so i was just talking a little before i got out, mind you we were talking about the job because the gm basically said he was hired so i was just giving him a few heads up so while im in the back the gm proceeds to say we cant hire him blah blah blah ,so im thinking i dont know what type of mind games your playing because you just said he was hired now before i clock out he isnt thats weird so i just wasnt with the bull , also today she didnt respect my personal issues i had going on at home "abbie rock"and told me i would be terminnated if i didnt show up so today i caught a uber to work and things of that sort but overall there is so much to speak about this job and i mean wayyyy more and like i said before i highly recommened noone to work with abbie rock which is only 19 or either jessica the gm there management is shared offf of favortism with the crew members and they have mostly leveraged staff in there buisness most of the people that work there already knew someone in there so yea you shoukd know...
Read moreArron the manager on duty hung up the phone on me two times. Did an online order. Went to pick it up, walked in the associate, asked me did I have an online order asked me my name. Told me my order wasn’t ready, it will be 5 minutes. Ok went to the restroom, came out young man told me my order was ready. Get home 20 min drive . I have the wrong order. Call and spoke to Arron the manager on duty. He tells me basically too bad so sad that I drove 20 minutes to patronize the restaurant. He could not give me a refund because I ordered online. Then he tells me he will have my order ready next time I come up there other than that there was nothing else he can do. When I told him how rude he was talking to me he hung up the phone told me I was yelling at him. They messed up my order. Hung up the phone not one time but two times. Not even trying to make things right this is the reason why I stop patronizing restaurants because the workers are so rude and disrespectful $30 for an order and I’m in the wrong because I’m upset that they messed up my order. I worked in customer service, and I know that is no way to treat a customer regardles. When they messed up five guys will never get another dime...
Read moreMy experience was horrible even while five other employees stood in the kitchen visible to the entire restaurant and did nothing the manager still had the line wait approximately 4 minutes while he counted the till until he can start serving customers again I received my Virgo a double cheeseburger for $13 absurd right not even close when I received my food I got a cold Burger despite sitting there and watching them sit it on the counter and wait and wait they still sold it to me after I paid I received my food it was cold and remember I did order a milkshake when I went back to receive my milkshake I showed my receipt to the employee she act like I asked her to help stop the war in Ukraine the way she looked at me because she was disgusted and felt offensive that I asked for what I paid for so I said forget it can I just speak to her manager to receive the difference in my refund for my milkshake refund another half an hour later I receive my refund on the way out the door the cold burger that they could not take back I threw in the trash never never again will I visit...
