Gloria Jean's Coffees — Restaurant in Fairview Heights

I’ve been a Gloria Jean’s customer since the 1990s so I was super excited when this location opened. Last week I ordered my usual drink, the woman behind the counter was having issues with the card machine, she said it didn’t go through so she rang me up on the other one and made my drink. Two days later I check my bank account and the first transaction that “didn’t go through” did in fact go through so I was charged twice for one drink. Was so excited to have Gloria Jeans again. But this location needs a lot of work. The whipped cream and toppings in the picture is an upcharge, FYI (in case they "forget" to tell you). And you have to make sure they don't cheat you on that. Especially if they skip your drink. Been here twice now and I am not impressed with the service. Extremely cute set up. Mugs everywhere! Food was displayed and looked amazing, I just try next time. I got a winter wonderland hot and the combination of syrups with the light cinnamon topper was delightful. The lady I met was running the show by herself around 10 this morning and went above and beyond to make us drinks she knew we would love. I appreciated her kindness!!! I’m def going back for...
